  2. questions regarding I-134:

    1. What should we put on the annual income? Annual income from the previous year as stated in the W2? Or Annual income (estimated) this present year?

    2. If the petitioner own a real estate, is it OK if he chooses not to declare it because the annual income anyway already met the poverty line?

    3. Do we really need to fill up all items or has the option what are the things just enough to prove capacity to support the beneficiary?

    TIA

  3. So its really thru naturalization but with our I-129F we tick thru parents. Do you think it would be a big issue/problem since we will declare thru naturalization this time with I-134? Hope an explanation during the interview will be just fine since I will still be presenting a copy of his Cert of citizenship...

  4. now Im confused! what is the difference between US citizenship thru naturalization vs. thru parents? when you are petitioned by one of your parents (US citizen) and got approved and have obtained a certificate of citizenship - that is thru naturalization or thru parents?

we already got our NOA2 but it is just now that we thought of this... what we have placed in our I-129F was US citizen thru parents but now we are confused as we are filling up the I-134 (affidavit of support) as preparation for the interview.

if ever we are wrong with what we have placed in our I-129F, can we just declare US citizenship thru naturalization on the I-134? Would we have a problem since its different from what was written on our I-129F previously? Can we just explain the mistake made on our I-129F during the interview?

comments & suggestions are much appreciated TIA

  6. I already want to prepare other documents that we will be needing for our K1 visa application. I just have a question regarding the I-134 form particularly the question asking for "previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s) - asking for name&date submitted

I have a sister and her daughter who were petioned by my mother but I am the one who submitted my affidavit of support for them together with a co-sponsor (my elder sister). It has been almost 3 years from now since I filed for that. My sister has her own work already, have her own car, living with my other older brother, and pays her taxes on her own. In short, she is not actually depending on me anymore.

Now that I am filing for K1 visa for my soon wife-to-be, I need to file affidavit of support for her...

Should I still write my sister and her daughter on the section where it is asking for "previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s) - asking for name&date submitted? Even if my sister is not actually depending on me anymore? If yes, will my sister and her daughter still be included as a part of my household / dependents?

What I am actually thinking is if ever they will still be included, my annual income is expected to be higher as compared if they will not already be counted as my dependents. But i am also thinking if I will not write them on that section, I might be questioned if ever they'll find it out.

Need answers smile.png Thanks in advance!
