  1. all interview slots for the month of March are taken.. April interview slots are not yet open... But always check for any available slots to be opened because once in a while, there are some applicants who cancel interview appointments for some reasons - usually, medical examination problems... Good luck!

  2. I had my medical in SLMEC as required before interview. Unfortunately, during physical exam the doctor detected heart mumurs. I was asked to consult a personal cardiologist since they are not allowed to make referrals. She requested for a detailed medical certificate particularly stating the diagnosis of my condition. I thought if there are problems detected, consultation to a specialist is already included with the medical fee ($223).

I already consulted a cardiologist and I was asked to undergo ECG and 2D echo which will cost almost 7,000pesos or about $170 (consultations excluded!) :( And in the Rx it is stated "T/C Vascular Heart Disease" . Aside from it being pricey, my concern is WILL IT NEGATIVELY AFFECT VISA APPROVAL??? :'( I was told though by SLMEC staff that after I present the medical certificate to the doctor who examined me and requested for it, I can already have my vaccines at the same day.

Anyone who had experience this? Your insights would be greatly appreciated.. TIA

Mine was approved October 30. still waiting for my case number. cray5ol.gifcray5ol.gifcray5ol.gif

are you guys going to schedule it by yourself after you got your case number? or are you going to wait for the letter from USEM for your appointment? so jelous cray5ol.gifcray5ol.gif

you better call now everyday.. I got my case no. thru phone call Nov21 but it was already generated nov.19 and already shipped and in transit to Manila consulate.. I asked NVC to send me an email where the the case no. can be seen so i can use it for my medical this monday.. because i believe it would take long before my fiance receive the NVC letter thru mail.. then today(nov 23) my fiance just received the email and forwarded it to me. yesterday, just by knowing the case no. I was also able to set an appointment online for my interview.. you better set an appointment right away after knowing your case no. because slots are taken out so fast (no slots available for dec&jan except for those which are cancelled every now and then).. Good luck!

  4. No. It is already on there and makes no difference. The house value doesn't matter, and debts are not used for determining the affidavit of support.

If he already signed it, then you could fill it out and leave the assets section blank. They are not needed.

Thanks! So I guess I will be using the I-134 that he already prepared even with the mortgage on it since it will not matter.. :) Thanks again! I feel relieved.. :)

  5. you don't need to show 125% for I-134. No don't use your mortgage because it will make things complicated you just need 100% of the poverty guidelines. You will need 125% poverty guidelines when you adjust your status with the I-864.

But my fiance (petitioner) had already sent me the I-134 wherein the mortgage was declared.. Do you think I have to ask him again to send me a new one? It will cost us a lot though.... i think he paid almost $40 whent he sent me docs the last time :(

  6. So my fiancée and I have been preparing the I-129F Package, and have more or less gathered everything, I (the foreign, non-US Citizen part of this) have prepared a signed copy of my G-325A (might make a second one just in case something should happen) and passphotos for her to have, is there anything else I should send along while I am at it? or Is the G-325A and the passphotos the only thing needed from here.

Hi! Hope this helps... These are what our I-129F packet contains:

    *G-1145

    *Cover letter

●Application fee in the amount of $ 340 check

    ● Form I-129F, Petition for K-1 Fiancé Visa

    ● I-129F Supplement: Part 2 Question 34a, explanation of meeting in person

    ● G-325A and passport style photo (Petitioner)

    ● G-325A and passport style photo (Beneficiary)

    ● Evidence of U.S. Citizenship (Birth certificate/Copy of Certificate of Citizenship; US Passport)

    ● Letter certifying intent to marry (Petitioner)

    ● Copy of Divorce Decree (Petitioner)

    ● Letter certifying intent to marry (Beneficiary)

    ● Proof of ongoing relationship

    -Chat logs

    -Letters

    -Engagement ring receipt (if available)

    ● Proof of having met in person in the past two years

-Passport page(s) with Entry&Exit stamps to&from the country where you've met

    -Itineraries

    -Hotel receipts

-Pictures together (with date, place, and who you're with)

  7. Hi! Opinions please....

For a household of 5 (petitioner&beneficiary already included) is this OK?
    Annual income - $53325
Real estate valued at - $162000
    Mortgage - $ 134000

The annual income is actually above the 125% poverty line for a household of 5 but my concern is about the real estate and its mortgage which is still high... My fiance (petitioner) had already printed our I-134 out, signed, and sent it to me when we found out that it is OK not to include the real estate. Will the high mortgage matter much despite the above 125% poverty line annual income?
