Hi all,
This forum has been extremely helpful for me in pursuing my GC.
My friend (US citizen) had married a girl from india about 1.5 years ago, since she was studying and without a passport, she just recently came to the US.
Once arriving to the US, she got a 2 year visa/GC. The day after she received the visa/gc she said she wants a divorce. According to us, this is surely a scam and we would like to do whatever we can such that she is not given a US green card. Is there anything we can do as i feel very bad for my friend who has been under depression since this has happened.
Thank you very much to all of you for all your help.

Hi
The payments have been accepted.
Can i mail in the AOS and IV package or do i have to fill in the DS-260 online first?
Thank you very much.
-
Thank you. Since we have made the second payment from the same bank account, if it gets rejected again then i will try another bank account. Thank you very much.
-
An error with the bank routing number perhaps?
Surely not a bank routing error, Apple21.
Could it be becuase we made the payment before the DS 261?

My wife and I recently got our NVC number thus we paid the AOS fee then did the DS 261.
The money was not deducted from her account and after 2 days, the NVC website said payment rejected.
We have made the payment for AOS and IV again.
Please advice what the problem could be. Thank you.

I recently have had my I130 approved NOA2 Sep 30,2013.
I have 2 options for sponsor
A) Income of over 120K per year but only 15-20k in the bank due to a recent investment in India
B) Income of about 70k per year and has about 50k in the bank.
Which one is a better pic? Option B is my sister, and Option A is her spouse.
Sorry, re posted this again... please help.

Hi All,
I finally got my I 130 approved after a year of wait and a month wait after my RFE.
What is next in the process? Do i just wait for my case to be transferred to NVC and then receive my case number?
I want to thank all those who have been very supportive with answer all my questions. I will try to do the same.

You can email them according to your service center. California or Vermont are the two options for I130.

Maybe you can call USCIS for any update?
Since it's almost been a year and 2013 filers were being approved, I think you may try to contact and ask help from your congressman..
@marione05
USCIS doesnt have any trend by which they are approving I130. There are yet many people for 2011 who are waiting to be approved. Many lucky people from 2013 have also been approved...
We have already contacted the congressman... which helped us in getting the case opened and soon the RFE. I think we will probably contact him soon again as one month is a very long time to wait after the RFE response.
Thank you very much.
Good luck.

Have you submitted cover letter with marriage certificate. ..its important ...if yes then all good relax it be will done in week or 2.....
Hi Susmani,
We have not submitted a cover letter.
We sent the copy of the marriage certificate in original language and the RFE letter we received from the USCIS. The USCIS website shows that the RFE was received. Is there anything we can do now?
Mine RFE response was sent a month ago and haven't heard anything yet
@feelingGood
You can try emailing the USCIS. It has helped us in the past.
Good luck.

Hi
PD: Oct 05, 2012
Center: CSC
I-130 F2A
My case was recently opened by the USCIS, after which we received an RFE.
The RFE is for the marriage certificate in the original language as we has only sent the english version. The response for the RFE was sent on August 25, 2013. It has been about one month since we have sent in the RFE response but we have not yet received any reply... Most of the other cases I have seen online have been approved within about 2 weeks of the RFE response.
Is there anything we can do other than wait... as i am getting a little anxious.
Thank you very much for your help.

16 years and older. ~~~
Would either of you have the link for that? Thank you very much for the help.
