VERY VERY excited for you! My interviewing officer was truly amazing and she made me feel at ease right from the beginning. I did the combo interview I-751 first with my spouse and then the N400 on my own, so essentially the ROC interview was the ice-breaker!
 
We'll look forward to hearing from you once you're done.

I went through it 2 years in Fort Lauderdale, and sadly, they did not at that point!

Reading this makes me so happy and also sad at the same time. I'm sorry Stan couldn't be with you in person to share the joy with you, but I'm happy there's still some humanity in our government's machine, and that you were able to be sworn in.

I was out of the country for a while and didn't follow VJ and this thread.
 
I came back specifically to see whether there was any news for you, and I'm glad to see there is! 

Glad to know you passed your interview and that you will be scheduled for an Oath Ceremony soon! You will be looking at that blue passport for months to come, I tell ya! Also, the best feeling coming back with a warm "Welcome home!" by the CBP officer at the MIA airport.

At last! I can't yet see what the actual date is, but I hope it will soon update on the ELIS/DHS website. Doing a LOT of traveling in May, so travel arrangements may need to get adjusted; hopefully not!
 
Still very much pleased with the fact that I decided to file for citizenship back in November 2017 even though my ROC was still pending, November 2016 ROC filers are just starting to get approved now.
 
I'll update you once I am able to review the actual appointment letter, hopefully tomorrow.

We scheduled your oath ceremony for Receipt Number IOEXXXXXXXXXX. We sent a notice with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony to the address you gave us. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by May 30, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

For whatever reason I ignored the existence of this thread, so here I am now! November 2016 ROC filer, and November 2017 N-400 filer.
 
I had my N-400 interview on March 12, 2018 (with a pending ROC application). After reading much about it here on VJ, I was confident that the ROC would be adjudicated prior to the citizenship interview, so I brought my husband along, and sure enough, we were called together to have the ROC interview first, and then he was made to leave so that I could go through the citizenship interview.
 
The officer did have my huge folder on her desk, and the conversation concerning the ROC was a friendly and pleasant one. She went through the details included in the application (for both interviews actually), and then asked very simple questions about our married life, friends, etc..
 
Considering I applied for citizenship in November of 2017, and it only took 4 months to go through the process, and also considering that CSC has yet to process November 2016 ROC filers, I'll say I am VERY happy I went forward with the N-400 application.
 
Now all I have to do is wait for USCIS to schedule the Oath Ceremony, and then I'll finally be able to conclude this very long process.

It was an emotional one for sure. I really went in to the ceremony thinking I might be rejected, my expectations were so low. When I got there, I filled out the 445 form and proceeded to a long table with at least 20 to 30 officers. She looked at my 445 form and she looked at my question 1 that i checked "YES" since my husband passed 3 days after I passed the interview, I thought they might reject me there, but surprisingly, they told me if i wanted the certificate to say married or widowed, so I was kind of confused, i thought it was up to them. The officer told me it is up to me, i guess probably it was because they did approve my request to expedite the oath without notifying me, but I chose widowed, but the certificate I got later says "married", but I don't really think it matters. I was there for about 3 hours. There were about 4000 new citizens there being sworn in, and I cried so much because I wish my husband were there celebrating with me. I had a bit difficulty finding my car after i got my certificate. I filled out the form to register to vote too. I will always apply for my passport this afternoon. I guess USCIS always has the absolute discretion to approve or deny, and I made a convincing argument trying to get them to approve me on the day of the interview, but i guess they approved our application posthumously. What a journey, I am so glad it is over. It has been a rough ride emotionally too. I am so proud of being an American citizen now. Oh, I also took a screenshot front and back of the 445 form signed by me and stamped by USCIS, my lawyer told me i did everything and there's nothing to worry about now and she congratulated me too.  I hope it will be your turn soon!! Thank you so much. Yes, my immigration journey is finally over and thank you for your condolences. My husband is probably smiling either from heaven or next to me. We did it, my husband and I accomplished this together. It is ok for me to be sad. I was so moved yesterday at the oath because I also wish my husband were there crying with me and hugging me after I got my citizenship certificate, but I knew he was there, his spirit was. Thanks a lot for your support.

Took the Oath of Allegiance yesterday and became a US citizen. Also got my passport right away at the Miami Passport Agency as I'm traveling internationally tomorrow (I actually had a flight yesterday afternoon but the passport was not issued in time for that).
 
The funny thing I wanted to share is that as soon as I left the passport office, I also received an unrelated text message that my permanent green card was mailed to me. So the timeline from approval to mailed was less than 3 weeks (April 24 / May 11). This is for all of you that have not applied for citizenship but were approved for the ROC and have not received your card. Things seem to be moving.

Thank you! And yeah, I also do believe it is worth it, however you do need to show proof of impending travels... They won't leg you otherwise.

Absolutely, and that's why I wanted you to know that despite the naturalization certificate being issued and all, my card still went into production AFTER the certificate was issued.
 
That's what I did, I attached my conditional green card to the form, and that was it. Of course, I didn't have to deal with what you're personally dealing with. I still hope you will be successful; I'm rooting for you.

It's incredible how we have "almost" the same starting date for the I-129F (I started on 8-13-13, and you started on 8-14-13!), and the very same date for the end of the process with the oath ceremony!
