  1. Hey guys!

I got a very small checklist asking to redo my joint sponsers I-864 because I used the gross adjusted income instead of the total income.

We are resubmitting the I-864 with the change, but I"m not sure if I need to resend the supporting evidence again, or not. The checklist doesn't ask for any additional financial documents, but Im just not sure.

    Any thoughts?

  2. I've submitted everything to the NVC, including both document packets, all payments and all online forms. On the CEAC website, most things have updated to reflect that. However, the section for both supporting documents still says N/A.

Additionally, I haven't heard anything via email or hard copy letters suggesting they have officially received my mailed in packets, although my tracking number indicates it was received at the beginning of August. Is this normal? Should I call? Does anyone know what that N/A means?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. Hello guys!

Here in Brazil you need two different criminal records (state and federal) for the NVC. The primary way to aquire these is through a governmental portal, who then sends you a digital copy. Can I simply print those out? I'm a bit confused because I know that normally I need to have originals or certified copies of everything, so I don't know if this will count as the certified copy.

    Thanks!

  4. Hi guys,

I got my approval for the I-130 from the USCIS last week, so I'm starting to prepare the two NVC packets.

I put a lot of proof of the relationship in my original I-130 packet, but I know that I really need it for the next few steps.

My question is where do I put that evidence for the upcoming processes (NVC and Interview)? Should I include it with the AOS or IV packets? Should I just bring it with me to the interview? All of the above?

    Thanks!

  5. I didn't do anything wrong either.

Even I am going to pay 21,000$ to government for taxes..

Still my case is missing somewhere.

I'm so sorry to hear that Deep.

Stay positive and keep hope. These moments are hard, but like all things, they will pass.

I'm still waiting on my NOA2, and some days I start to go crazy, but I try to remind myself to live in the moment and enjoy my life for what it is now, not only live for the moment that I get an answer. It's so difficult though, isn't it!

  6. Hi everyone-- I filed the i-130 in August for my husband-- I believe my pd was Aug. 19th. I was informed that the case was transferred to TSC around Feb. 11, and since then nothing. is this typical of others´ experience?

Also, I am currently in my husband's country, waiting with him, so that he can get to know our son (born since I filed). I´m wondering if anyone has any idea if the next steps with NVC (whenever it may happen) will be doable to process from here, or if I should plan to return to the US for awhile at that point? I have a co-sponsor in the US.

    THanks for any input!

Hey, it's not exactly typical, but neither is it atypical. About 70% of the transferred cases have been approved, but 30% of us, myself included, are still waiting.

It could be one of a million things, so there is no reason to worry!

  7. Hey guys,

Here is a tip for everyone who is still waiting on NOA2. Part of my anxiety is seeing all the August people getting approvals and thinking that maybe there is a problem with my file.

I went back and looked through some of the spreadsheets for past months, and every month that I looked at still has lots of cases to go. I know that doesn't speed up our process, but it also helped to remove some of the anxiety for me.
