Wow Anon885,am I reading your timeline right? You mailed in I-485, I-765, and I-131 on March 15 and still no Greencard? We mailed on June 15 and we were hoping it would show up soon! Her AP/EAD card got here around August.
Because I am one of notice of potential interview waiver case which is delaying like hell now. Good luck.

If the document is either in English or Vietnamese, then you dont need to translate.
-
My husband is currently working in France for 6 months before coming back to US so all my hopes are on Senator and Ombudsman.
-
Thanks for info Shell20. I didnt make infopass yet due to the fact that it is far from my home.
-
Wow Ombudsman that is interesting, hopefully that might open up an enquiry regarding the delays? Perhaps, maybe. I honestly don't think I have read about the Ombudsman getting involved before, so should be more than interesting. Thanks for the heads up!
Ombudsman is the last thing I can request and they told me that if they can help, then they will contact USCIS. Otherwise, they will say No.
-
Both Senator and Ombudsman contacted USCIS. I hope I will hear back from them soon.
-
You call USCIS to request an inquiry for your I-765. Customer service will ask you why you want to do so. You need to tell them that USCIS's website says that I can submit a request if my case is pending more than 75 days. You need to make sure your application is pending 75 days because USCIS will tell you that your application is not 75 days from the date of filling. Then asking for the confirmation number and that is it. I,myself, as along with other people had been successful by submitting the request.

My wife's EAD expires 06.16.15 when should we start thinking about renewing it? Is it three month before expiration? we sent everything in a large envelope for AOS but that was a huge stack of documents...
You can renew within 120 days before expiration date.
-
So 100% The address for EAD renewals is the Chicago lockbox?
The same address because it is C9 for us. Address will not change whether this is first time or renewal.
-
That is the same address as before. I was freaked out when I heard special address so I thought I sent to the wrong one. I checked again and its same one.I didn't see anything about a special address for renewal EAD/APs either (?) I only see next to C9 on this page it gives the same old Chicago address I sent everything to last time. Am I missing something?
-
Whistleblowers. Maybe there will be a few from USCIS...
Use the same I-765 application. Check the renewal box. Read the instructions and there is a special address for AOS renewals. No fee.
I sent my renewal EAD today to Chicago Lockbox. Dont tell me I sent to the wrong address.

I received the response from my request. You know what the response is identical as the NPIW that I received on late June 2014. It has been 7 months from NPIW, that is why I submitted the request. The officer was not reading the 6 months mark. By the way, my new Senator is on the scene now. Let see what we will get.

Just filed an inquiry. We received our interview waiver letter in July, of course. My wife's EAD expires in July 2015, when should we apply for its renewal? Do we need to do that in March in case they don't get back to us in time?
Reapply 120 days before expiration date.

They will never reply your email. I did send them an email and never heard back in 4 months. Good Luck.
-
try to use different email to sign up for your case number.
-
2 photos per each form, therefore, it requires 6 photos if you apply for I-485, I-765, and I-131. I hope they will not issue RFE for that. However the photo appears on the card is usually the photo you take at biometric fingerprint day.

This is even more ridiculous for renewal EAD. I am going to send out the renewal application on 02/05 which they are about to process illegal's application on 2/18. I am not sure how long it takes to get EAD, and I might lose my job and my driver license.
-
Well just checked USCIS status, it is like a religion now, dis-spells the boredom, that and shovelling snow. At least for now its the light, fluffy stuff and keeps me in shape. Guess what I got your fingerprint fee has been received. I was shocked to see that. Not!!
Any way Im sat here looking at people's comments and I can't help wondering whether the employee's of USCIS actually read them and have a quick chuckle to themselves. We cant blame them for the procedures and policies and it must be hard to constantly receive irate phone calls and to have to fob people off all the time. I know it would drive me crazy as I like to help people.
Then I got to thinking wouldn't it be great if someone on visa journey got a job there and kept us updated on current time scales. i also wish they would unlock my password so I can view my account properly, any one else on here locked themselves out of the USCIS website and emailed them regarding it, with no response? Curious!
Use different email to sign up the new account. I got locked multiple emails and they did not even reply my emails.

Wow, they required to have Hep B, Meningoccocal as well?. The price for Varicella is about 100 dollar or more, and Meningoccocal is about another 100 dollar. However, Hep B is not that expensive as I know. Therefore, the total of 3 shots will be around 250 dollar, so the civil surgeon charges 200 more to fill out the form 693. I got Hep A, B, and Varicella at Department of Health in my state which they charged to my insurance. Hence, I did not pay for the cost of 3 shots. Did you try Department of Health to get those shots, and then find the civil surgeon that can fill out the form 693 for you?

Thanks again Nick.

Thanks Nick. Do I have to prove that I live 183 days in US or they will know somehow?

I called them again today and I was asked whether I can submit the request to NBC instead of my local office. She convinced me again, that the response I had last time was from NBC. I told her that it is not because my local office's address is on the letter as well as on the envelope. She still said it was from NBC and I told her that the post office's stamp does say my local office's city on the envelope. She hang up the phone on me, and I have to submit the request online that has 3 letter at the end of confirmation number as JAC, which is my local office again. I guess I will receive the same response as last time, however, I will continue to submit the request every 30 days.

Since it's looking like it may be a longer wait than we expected, I am wondering when my husband should apply for another EAD/AP. He received both in early May 2014, should he apply now for them or is it too early?
He can renew EAD within 120 days before it expires. He should do it as soon as possible.

HI VJ's members,
I am sorry if this question has been answered somewhere. I have read multiple threads but I just want to make sure I am doing it right.
I came to US with K-1 visa on March, 2014 and filed AOS right after that. I am current having EAD and SSN, however I don't have my Green Card yet because my application is one of the selected Interview Waiver case.
I am filling the income tax as Married Jointly by using the paper form (not online). What documents do I need to provide to IRS as I am a nonresident :
This is what I am going to include with form 1040:
1) Copy of my SSN.
2) Copy of my driver license.
3) Copy of my passport.
4) Copy of my EAD card.
Do I need to write a statement about Nonresident Spouse Treated as Resident? and what else?
Thank you for reading my post and your helps.
