I recived the oath ceremony notice.

It will be 31,July.

10days after that, I need to be on the plane to go overseas. Wish it was earlier than that.

But what can I do. Just work around it.

I will have my oath ceremony soon.

And I need passport quickly, is it possible apply a passport after the ceremony with expedited (+$60 fee)?

Passport agency is too far away from where I live.

If is possible, (I know it said 3 weeks door-to-door) how long it took to get the passport ?

Anybody has experience?

Well my interview was today - arrived 15 min earlier - sat for 30 min before being called in...asked to stand up and raise my right hand and promise to say nothing but the truth, went over the paperwork, then went on to the questions:

There are four amendments to the Constitution about who can vote. Describe one of them

What is one reason colonists came to America?

Who is in charge of the executive branch?

If the president can no longer serve, who becomes President?

What is one right or freedom from the First Amendment?

then had me read: "Which state has the biggest population?"

and write: "California has the biggest population"

was told "Congratulations, you passed...... and we are scheduling oath ceremony for Monday July 9th

so after waiting 30 min cause it was their lunch, they called the people that passed with instructions for the oath ceremony

On June 9, 2014, we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. We will send a notice when the ceremony is scheduled. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I was put in Oath scheduling queue today. My wife on the other side did not even though we did interview the same date. How long approximately it take from being put in scheduling until they schedule you?

my case is still there since June 9th .

I am moving overseas for few years in first week of August.

Ok, so my husband and I are now officially US Citizens. Since my husband was able to reschedule his oath ceremony and his timeline ended up to be the same as mine, I'm deleting the Suaya415-2 row I added in post #881.

If you want to apply for US Passport after the ceremony don't forget to bring 2 photographs and check or money order for $135. Good luck to everybody else still waiting for their turn!

Second a bit more complicated.

At what point during the process can you not leave and re enter the US? I potentially messed up by filing when I did. We are wanting to take a trip to England before my daughters 2nd birthday (in September) but obviously I don't want to jeoprodise my citizenship process. If by September I have had my interview but no oath ceremony can I travel on a uk passport? If by September I haven't had interview can I travel on uk passport?

How long have people generally waited between filing and interview date and interview date to oath ceremony date? I filed to Arizona if that helps.

and reading was

Abraham Lincoln was the President

I am gonna go for my biometics taken. but i wanna go a little ealry because of the traffic.

planning to go around 1pm (my appointment is 3pm)

and then realized it could be lunch break for them.

My appointment for biometic is 4/4/2014 but I am thinking go on 3/31/2014 because my hubby will be out of town for business trip and I don't want to take my baby with me.

I know a lot of people went earlier than their appointment and accepted to take their finger print.

But I haven't heard that people went earlier for biometic for naturalization.

It shouldn't be a problem. Right??
