Jaz&Bry reacted to MrMadCat in US citizen spouse withdrawing I-130.
So sorry to hear this. Sadly the system is against you. I do find it rather messed up though that a USC Husband can be a douche by cheating, then a double douche by forcing someone to go back home. It actually happens to people that have been building their life for a while and have given up everything to be with their spouse, and they're left going back to absolutely nothing. There are so many topics on this forum about USC getting "scammed" and "revenge" posts, yet this is a perfect example of a USC screwing someone over. It happens a lot too.

I have no idea if you're being scammed. If I had to give you advice, I would say that, if you're in doubt, protect yourself. I also know nothing about PMS. And, as a guy, I hope to keep it that way.
I have problems when people try to stereotype millions of people, especially in a derogatory manner. Here are some examples:
Yes, my wife and I have arguments. But the fact that she has some of the traits listed above in now way means she wants out of the relationship.
The point is - you, I, all of us on here - we didn't marry a stereotype. We didn't marry a series of traits that belong to all people from a certain country. We married a person. An individual who has their own personality. She is not defined by what some stranger on the internet says Filipinas are like.
You know your wife better than any of us. I hope things work out for you.

I had a nice long reply written to your post but I decided it would be wiser to not post it.
Let me just say that I disagree with almost everything in your post. It is stereotyping, and borderline racist. Nice to know that still exists.

Hi Meg, my heart goes out to you!!! While I'm not a pro-lifer, my thought on this subject is that if you wanted to have children someday anyway, maybe this is really the child you were supposed to have. Fate sometimes is a funny thing and opens one door when another closes. Raising a child alone is no easy feat, but raising a child while being married to a jerk is probably much harder.
Listen to your gut, not your heart or your head (or other people). We sometimes have an amazing clarity when we imagine one thing or another. If you feel a rock in your stomach imagining an abortion, but the rock is not as heavy imagining having the baby, then you have your answer.
If you can, talk it through with councelors, planned parenthood, friends, family....but don't listen to their advise, listen to how their advise makes you feel.
Whatever path you choose, tell yourself it was the right one for you. The worst thing is regret. I wish you all the love in the world! I'm so sorry you are hurting!

Jaz&Bry got a reaction from Portlandia in Coping.. How do we all deal with waiting for our loved ones
ummmmmm, I am sure most of us do visit their loved ones. But a visit every few months or once, twice a year is not enough to keep you from missing them inbetween visits?!? Maybe there lies an ocean and a whole continent between the 2 of them, everybody has their lives with responsibilities, a job they can´t just up and leave anytime they miss their partner, they possibly have children to take care of, a roundtrip costs $ 1500 or more so you can´t afford it all the time. In many cases it´s visa issues that won´t allow them to travel to their loved one´s country and/ or stay there until the K1- process is over....so there are plenty of reasons. I don´t think anyone of us CHOOSES not to see their significant other.

I know, it looks sooo good But I think it´s just a product of the recent December approvals. I don´t even dare to hope it could be that soon for us!

Jaz&Bry got a reaction from Tayri n Tudert in Today on Barak Obama FB page. Let's Storm it!
I posted on there too. Said that the purpose of fiance and spousal visa is to reunite families as well and that many people could post pictures and stories that are just as heartbreaking. Said that it´s not fair that legal immigrants are being punished for choosing the legal route with unreasonably long waiting times and referred to CSC.
I said all of this in a very civilized way though I know we all want to vent but I think one is more likely to be taken seriously if they express themselves eloquently and respectfully.
