Marriages are like a roller coaster, and you always commit for the long ride, however if that ride get too much and you are not able to tolerate the bumps and swings along the rails. Then it's an option for you to get off that ride. Learn from it with no regrets and move on...Life is a journey!!!

Hi There,
I wanted to ask the question about when would be the best time to send off my I-751 to USCIS. My conditional green card expires on 02/21/16, and I know it should be within 90days
Please advise
Regards

Just got the letter about delays after our service request in October. Six months from the date of the letter. Hopefully the GC will just come in the mail, no interview.
This waiting game is ridiculous..
Well, well I just received a status update yesterday February 20th 2014 that our K1 AOS has be approved and card is now in production. Almost 12 months and its finally approved....no interview at all...

Well, on the 12/1 it will be 30 days and I still heavent received any letter in the mail. I hope it will come by then, really, really hope.. Do I just do another service request if I dont receive nothing?
Hi Galla,
We are both in the same situation, on the 12/04/2013 it will be 30 days since I put in a service request and I still havent heard anything back. Even though when I spoke with the Customer Service Operative, she did confirmed that they had passed my processing date by a few days...
I filed my AOS from K1 - on the 03/15/2013....

Here (hope it works): https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do
Seems like Atlanta is working on April 9, 2013 files, so since your NOA date is before that, I would call and put in a Service Request.
Hi HK12,
Thank you for responding
I did call CSC this morning and I was told that they have passed my processing date, so you are correct if they are now working on April9, 2013.
She did put in a service request for me, so hopefully I will receive an approval real soon
You have a great day and thanks again for your help.

Hello fellow OKC-filer! We have a similar timeline - filed in early March, got our EAD/AP in mid-May, and got the interview Waiver letter in early September. My Green Card just got approved two days ago, so maybe yours will follow soon.
I am not quite sure where you are getting the processing times from - OKC is currently working on March 2, 2013 applications, so you won't be able to put in a Service Request until your NOA date is beyond the current USCIS processing date. So calling right now does not make any sense. They would not do anything.
Good luck for a speedy approval!
Hi there,
Where can I find out about processing times if my office is Atlanta..but my file is at NBC...because I received interview waiver letter on 2nd August 2013... I filed AOS 15th March 2013. However I see recently others who filed after me are receiving approval..
Iam considering calling the CSC...

Yeah, I think we are all waiting impatiently for our authorization to work and (for those of us who did not have a DL in their homecountries) to drive! I want to be able to spend hours at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby without having to ask my husband or his family to take me to places and being stuck there with me, because they have to take me back home!
Has your husband done Driver's Ed? I have a couple of weeks ago (luckily I was allowed to do that even though I have to wait for my EAD to get my Learner's Permit), and it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to finally being more independent.
Congrats to you both...

I received the same letter dated August 6, 2013. I saw an April filer last week that updated his timeline last week and he also receivee that letter an already recieved his green card all he got was an email on the uscis websited and the green card he was also from my area.
VJ Member kokoy29: Profile thats their name check out their page. There is still hope to receive some news before the six mon
My letter was dated August 2nd 2013, so it would seem that they are fiddling about with March/April filers so we are all in that bundle...who will they pick next...
-
Well, well, Finally today got the AOS approved and got the notification for production of the CARD. it will be delivered within next 30 days from today. Good Luck to all the people here, who are eagerly waiting for their's. One more Hurdle ( Paperwork) Cleared.
Congrats to both of you...your wait is over for a couple of years...enjoy
-
Congrats on your employment!!
and looks like we are all in the same boat, at least we are in good company.
Thank you and its going great...
Yeah we are all in the waiting game...but I guess it will come real soon
-
At least you know everything is in order and you'll probably will not have an interview.
Wow...they are still sending those letters out huh...I did received one of those letters dated 2nd August 2013, stating my interview might be weived and could be another six months wait from the date of this letter...welll i hope its wont take that long
Good luck to everyone... keep me posted..
Good news too everyone...I started working since the 2nd August 2013....and now have a permanent job...

Hi March Filers,
I received a letter from USCIS on the 2nd August 2013, stating that my case has been selected for a interview waiver, but could be another 6 months before it will be processed.
Has anyone else from March filers received this letter...
Let me know
Thanks
Congrats to all who had interviews approved and GC on its ways....
-
Surely frustrating when you see other petitions getting approved within 2, 3, 4 months...while others are waiting average of 10 months to a year...not fair at all...
-
I am April filer and didn't receive any interview letter or any update yet. But will call them if I didn't receive anything by August 12. We might probably not have any interview before it's approve and that take like 8 to 10 months according to people who have gone through the process. Goodluck.
One will never know when USCIS will schedule interiews...I was jst reading here and could see members who filed for AOS from K1 after March 2013 and they already have interviews and received GC...one process I saw took only 2 months...

Hi everyone...First of all, I'd like to thank the Almighty God for His love and mercies in this journey so far. I'd like to also thank everyone here on visajourney for the help, advice, words of comfort and encouragement so far, may the good Lord richly bless you. I am now in the US, Atlanta- Georgia. Been here for two weeks now, and the experience so far has been so wonderful. I am soo happy to be with my baby. we got married a week ago, and now planning to put in the papers for the change of status. I'd like some help as regards the requirements and also will like to know if the affidavit of support requires sending all forms again that was previously sent as regard evidence of financial support. Thank you.
Hi there congratulations and all the best for your next journey....
I followed this link below and filed my K1/K2 AOS all by myself....its pretty straight forward...hope this help...

Hi all - just for clarification, if my medical has already been completed in London prior to my leaving (had medical just a couple of months ago) and I have since had the required vaccinations which were missing at the time, I need only submit pages 1 and 5 of the I-693 (signed by the civil surgeon, of course), right? USCIS has all the other information in my file.
Think this is the case but could someone else just OK what I'm saying, just to be sure?
Thanks fellow VJers!
Hi there and welcome
Yes that is correct, I had to find a Civil Surgeon to complete the vaccination section and they charge me $50 each for myself and 2 x K2 children.
Well good luck on this next part of your journey
-
Yes you should file, my son is the same age 13yrs/K2 and i filed for his EAD and then applied for his SSN#
Good Luck

Hi Sarah,
You should be fine, I filed exactly one month after my I-94 was expired because the cost was so much for myself and my 2 K2 children, $2775 in total, and so far received, EAD and I-131 travel document. Fingers cross we will have an interview very soon. We filed on 15th March 2013.
Good Luck

Donna & Paul,
I am so please for both of you, congrats....wow

Thanks Blue!!!! It feels AMAZING to be DONE!
Congrats....and a new journey begins...enjoy
Jemz
I've read somewhere on VJ that if you are adjusting from a fiance or K (?) visa, that you may not even get an interview. Look up posts by Peter_pan in the February AOS Filers. I think he/she is in the same category.
Cheers,
Blue
Hi Blue,
Thanks for that info and I will certainly go have a read...
Have a lovely day
Talk again soon

Hi Blue Bianchi,
Thanks for responding,
No interview date at all, I am praying that I will be notify this month for a date in August...I would prefer to have an interview now than to wait maybe 9 mths and not have an interview...based on what I have been reading here on VJ...That way we are all done for the next 2 years...
I hope all goes well on your new journey and wish you happiness always...
Keep me posted
Good luck today, Clydesdale!
Waving the US/St Andrews Cross flag for ya!Good Luck to you all...

Welcome Jemz!
So no interview date yet? If not, I hope you get it soon!
I'll hang around this forum until I actually get my hands on my GC. I swear, this wait is more difficult for me than the Interview date wait. Go figure.
Blue Bianchi
Good luck Ebbie! Let us know how it goes
