oh man that's inconvenient for us that have been already been waiting so long. I just called dos and a very nice professional gentleman by the name of Robert informed me that my case is in fact ready for a date to be set. He advised me to call by the end of the week and the system should be updated and I most likely will have my date. I pray that is so!

My last update was Sep 30th...

Why are people waiting so long for a interview. Loran in January wow that is a long time from now. Why are they so back logged with every process. My CEAC changed yesterday on the 4th October. My forms were received on the 3rd September. London embassy is also taking long. I called dos to ask what the update was about and they tell me my forms only got logged on they are still waiting to give me a interview date. At this rate I doubt I will be able to travel after Christmas in December.
Yes a few people got their interview date yesterday's and they were all in January! I honestly though some were for December being that they aren't a full capacity. Maybe they have less staff for the holidays.

It changes once actions are taken. I should be one week though.

It's a fact that they will continue processing visas!!! (and passports)
The State Department will continue processing foreign applications for visas and US applications for passports, since fees are collected to finance those services. Embassies and consulates overseas will continue to provide services to American citizens. So we are in the clear buddy!!!!!!!!
btw FELICIDADES
-
Yes it isn't affecting passports nor visas as said below:
The State Department will continue processing foreign applications for visas and US applications for passports, since fees are collected to finance those services. Embassies and consulates overseas will continue to provide services to American citizens.

I have started getting together all the info needed to submit my k1 visa for my fianceewhich I met in 2010 and am wondering how much is too much info as far as the proof of relationship and proof that I have seen him in person in the last 2 years. I have been 4 times to see him over the last 2 years and have tons of pictures tons of conversation spanning over 4 yrs , letters, mailed and recieved packages we have sent to each other telephone logs...receipts of when i have gone ...boarding passes...inteneraries for my 4 trips..passprt stamp copies...reciepts of entrace visas for me entering the domincan republic ...western union receipts...letter of intent to marry within 90 days from the both of us....a signed declaration written by my fiancee and the people present when he asked me to marry him..a letter of proof of our relationship that goes with question #36 on the i-129f petition......and the list goes on. I just dont wanna do overkill but I dont want to get an RFE. I also am not sure about how many pictures is sufficient to send because I have soooooo many to choose from, and if I can send those picture collages that can be made at those walmart kiosks to complie the pics on one foto page instead of sending 50 pics to span over the last 4yrs. Can someone please please enlighten me. Thanks sooo sooo much
The more you send the better!! I sent 100 pics .. Make sure you keep an exact copy of everything just as you submit it. Date your pics on the back, include the names of the people in the pics and the location of where they were taken. I put my pics in a zip-lock bag to keep them organized.
You sound fully prepared.. I wish you the best of luck.. Be patient my friend
Almost 7mths no NOA2 and I just found out...
