Maybe we are gonna be on the same day, who knows. haven't gotten my letter yet though.

I'm from San Diego too, has my interview last Tuesday at Front St Office downtown. i checked my case status today and it says they sent me the letter for the oath ceremony but haven't gotten it yet. hopefully it will be soon. 

I passed my citizenship interview today, they didn't ask for a lot of things, only my driver's license, green card and the appointment letter. the exam went well, i answered the first 6 out of 10 questions and was done right away. be sure to review all the questions in the handbook or cd and it will be easy. There weren't a lot to ask me about since i haven't left since I came here too so its just basically about me and my husband and how we met and how are we doing now. I did early filing so I was able to file for citizenship after being married to my husband for 3 yrs. since the beginning of this journey, it all went smooth and i'm so lucky that it happened that way with us. I wish everyone goodluck, i know all of you will be next.

Thank you, i passed. Finally the journey is almost over, just waiting for the oath ceremony in the mail now.

Interview scheduled tomorrow, getting nervous but everythings good. Will bring passport sized photos as well. 

I sent my application feb 17, NOA1 on feb 21 and FP on march 22. got in line for interview notification on may 31 and on june 20th got scheduled for interview. My scheduled date is on July 25. Hopefully it helps somebody with their applications. This was how I got mine. 

I was wondering about mine, filed feb 17 did my bio mar 22 then in line for interview since may 31. Is it possible to be in line for interview for 1 month or so?

 

just checked my case status and it said in June 20 they scheduled me for interview, just waiting for my schedule to come in the mail. its time to review for the civics test now.

thank you i actualky got my card in the mail today, yey! see you all next yr for filing for citizenship.

We got approved, no interview. Got the mail the other day and on the site as of August 25, my 10yr green card was mailed. What a nice suprise after coming back from a vacation.

a friend of mine filed feb 2016 and had gotten her card in the mail recently. no interviews as well, nor expedited. so i think its random, i filed february too so hopefully we'll hear back from them soon. we both filed for CSC too, let's keep our fingers crossed.

Can you give us your details (date you sent the application, date of receipt on NOA1, date of Biometrics) so we can include you in the list?

passed the interview for green card last may 13, now were just waiting for be green card to be mailed, thank God everything went well, now at least were good for almost 2 yrs until the ROC.

interview schedule for AOS is on May 13th but i don't have my EAD and advance parole, a friend said she went on to the interview without it and its fine. it seems that sometimes interview comes first before those which makes it unnecessary after all. its good to know that everyone is moving forward with all the paperworks, goodluck to us all and i hope everyone is doing well.

sent my AOS yesterday and today they recieved it already. now onto the waiting game again, hopefully everything will go smoothly.

Getting ready to file AOS, just got hold of the marriage certificate.

been here in the US for over a week now and i still am adjusting to the new timezone, weather here in SD is nice and my fiance has been very supportive of me and he's always making sure i feel at home. was able to print I-94 too and will file SSN next week. things has been doing very well, God is really good. hope everyone here is almost with their significant others especially now that holidays are coming. trully thanksgiving is a celebration especially for us this year coz there's a lot to be thankful for.

leaving in 2 days, i'm so happy to see everyone's progress and i'm wishing everyone goodluck. i'm couldn't thank you all enough for making this whole journey a better one being a part of this great support group. God bless you all.

Hooray my visa just got delivered. Finally!!

congrats Nurseling, got my flight booked already, will be flying to SD on November 9, 10 more days left here. it should go by fast with all the things that i have to accomplish.

Your right January would probably be better but I am running on a deadline. My usa nurse licence expires in January so need to be there to renew it. I guess we just have to pay whatever the price is for a December flight.

its all gonna be okay, nothing compared to spending time with our fianće's right? especially this coming holidays.

I agree I too will be going direct cos of my son I don't have the patience for transit so need a direct flight. The last price I saw was £600 but it's now gone up due to me waiting for the visa to be issued. Well I will surely buy the tickets this coming week I still want the visa in my hands first before booking the flight.

yeah you need to wait it out, the price is like that maybe due to it being on December, ticket prices are higher compared to any other month like in our case November, that's one of the reasons we chose November, could've make it October but i wanna be here for my mom's birthday next month before i leave.
