  3. It would be best to apply for his/her own certificate of citizenship cause when they applied for a specific jobs, they are required to produce a copy of Naturalization. Both of my boys are derevatives of mine (K1) they

were 16 & 14 Yrs old At that time, (4yrs

    ago). My eldest (16) appeared

at USCiS  For oath taking ceremony, probably 15 below is not required,

as to my youngest (14), certificate was sent to our home address and not required to appear. In gods grace, both applied to be a

servicemen, eldest is now Army and my youngest will start Navy training after high school graduation( 2021) they are Asked

to submit a copy of proof of their certificate citizenship. Who knows what requirements will be asked later? But be ready.

Two of my boys was born Filipino father from previous marriage, and one is American born, now 3 years of age (girl) with my present husband.                                        What to do and how to do it?                         For married Filipina to a (foreigner ) with dependents:  First thing, file a Report of Marriage at Philippine consulate submitted ours (July 19, 2015) at the same time I applied new passport with my current family name. At that time I’m still on my adjustment of status. Fast forward, 3 years after of all bulky papers for USCIS here comes my notice for oathtaking that would take place July 2017. I was about to give birth to (newborn baby) a week after my due was supposed to be my oathtaking so I have to visit USCIS for rescheduling my oathtaking for Naturalization, exciting!   Finally, received my scheduled appointment for my oathtaking, (Sept. 19, 2017), but before that, filed my daughter’s Report of Birth (Sept 13, 2017) and Philippine passport (she is now a dual citizenship of US & Philippines by virtue of birth from one Filipino parent before becoming a citizen).  On the other hand, my 2nd son who is now 18 yrs of age is  my dependent, as the other one is of age to file for his own.                                                              As of now:

  5. In my own understanding, when you get to Philippines bring your divorce decree to the Clerk of Court before seeing a lawyer. And that they can help you find a suitable one for your case rather than looking for one.  Sometimes whom they know matters when it comes to this kind of case.  My friend that works locally in the trial court suggested one of her client that it would be easier for petitioner to publicize the dissolution in public and you don't need to file an annulment which will take more time to process. The best way to deal with, is to publish it in the local newspaper that your marriage was dissolved in other country and that publication for couple of weeks is enough evidence to inform the world that you are in the process of dissolving your marriage in the Philippine system.

  6. I've tried passport and MNL case no..but it doesnt work. UID number is constant number of codes under the stripes bar on your appointment letter..it wont appear yet if visa is still at consular section. In my case I able to trace it night time..when visa was in transit to 2GO office.
