WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW DATE! MARCH 17th AT 8 AM! MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Our case complete was on January 16th, and our interview was scheduled on January 30th. We still haven't received the email, but the lady on the phone said it should be here shortly. She said it's safe for us to schedule our medical now! YEEEAHHHHH I'M SO HAPPY!

Had interview today and we heard the wonderful words "Your Visa is Approved"!!! Thank you God and all of you that have been with us from day one! Thanks DWheels and Soloenta, it's fina over!

Actually a month is nothing they can take months if they want and I saw a post a very long time ago that posted it took 18 months in AP before they received their second interview. So your blessed and I do hope your Congresswoman will help you. No one helped me not my Senator or Congresswoman! Very frustrating to say the least and I'll be praying everyone in despair will find great news soon.

OMG WHAT IDIOTS, why do they employ these morons in the first place if they are good for nothing. Did you talk to a supervisor, was this fixed OMG they could drive a saint to murder. Really enough is enough someone needs to fix this travesty! This is just ridiculous Can't wait to see this has been fixed!
The worst part is that they scheduled my hubby's appointment for 2/23/15!!! Why does it take a month to do this?!? This is so frustrating! I did contact my local congresswoman's office and I will hopefully hear back from them this week with what the Embassy will do...

Hello everyone! I just wanted to update you all on my current situation. The DNA package arrive to the US Embassy Dakar on 1/15/16. I received an email today stating that the DNA Center sent them the wrong test!!! I called the DNA center and they told me that they sent the correct test to them. The Embassy told them that they should have received a test for three people...why would they need it when they are fully aware that my hubby is the only one that lives in Senegal and we live in the USA?!?!? Some things I will never understand!

We got a case complete on 01/12/2015. I have been following the thread now I am here to join the thread.

WOW. No you can't fight it. It happens all the time. The reason they are asking because they are questioning the validity of your relationship. In a word they want to know Is he the father.
I have seen this recently. I have had 3 friends who had to go through it so it happens. Get it done soon as possible. It's going to take about 2 months to get done and results back to embassy.
If you just want to get this over and done with just comply. Choose one of the AABB labs in your area. Once done. Then they will contact him he will go to embassy and take a swab also. They will send that to the lab. They will run the test and once they get the results they will call him in and give him the results. Visa given.

I'm so very sorry my sweet friend, about this but don't feel bad my dear it's very common that this happens. I know it's expensive but it's just another hoop they are making everyone jump through and it mostly is Embassy specific. So please hurry and have that done, thank God it doesn't take forever now a days and get your Visa. Please don't be upset it's just bad luck they do this randomly for what ever crazy reason they have.
In my country they would say your at the door of the oven don't let the bread burn. I think if you contest this they will wonder why and can say denied, they have already said you have the Visa but you have just those loose ends. Bit the bullet your almost home you have gone through all the fire they set in front of you this is only one last bump in the road. Know your in my prayers and those of the good people in this thread. Just said a prayer this second, God is with you so just take a deep breath, this is the last of the stupid things you will have to do. Hello all! My hubby had his interview on December 18, 2014. They told him at the interview that he will receive his visa once he provides phone records and complete his vaccinations.
Today he submitted the requested documents to the Embassy. He was then told that our family will need to take a $600 DNA test to prove that we are the parents of our daughter.
I was 5.5 months pregnant when I left Senegal. Our daughter has been with me ever since. Why is this happening? I have looked on this website to find a similar situation; I've had no luck.
Do I have a good chance at fighting this? What should I do? Any advice would be helpful.
Also, today would be a great day for some encouragement...I am really overwhelmed and feel like this will never end...

Hey everybody I got my passport on wednesdsay and husband booked the ticket fir same night so I landed here on Thursday lol! POE was smooth although there was a v long waiting at the airport Cuz of chirstmas I guess people must be off. These 5 6 days here have been like a dream and long last won battle in the end. I just wanted to tell u all that I love u and I m one of the people who had tgr worst luck in this process and there were times when I thought we wont be able to make it. But we did. And it was all worth it. It strengthened us in our relationship and taught us how to cherish each moment of life and each other!I hope none of u have to go thru what we went thru Cuz no one deserves this. Soloenta sweetheart sorry for being so lost but u r still in my thoughts. Didn't get a chance to read the thread since last Wed. Hoping u might have the interview date

What an amazing way to bring in the New Year. 2015 has got to be a better year than 2014!!!!!

POE was 12/24/2014 at Ft. Lauderdale... It took my husband 2.5 hours to make it through customs/immigration. Other than the wait time there were no issues. He said all the staff there were nice. He also said that they didn't seem to process the people in the order that they came in as many people were processed before him that arrived after him. All in all the process was good the wait time I think was due to the number of people coming at the same time. S/N our son acts as if his dad was always with him

If you received a checklist and CC that means the beneficiary has to take the corrected let's say AOS or lost document to the interview with them. In my case I received a Checklist and have to send my husband the supposedly corrected ones. You can copy and paste the checklist here without your personal information and we can tell you if it's false or not and you need to call NVC to confirm it. Good thing is if it is a checklist it wont delay your interview at all so no extra waiting.

Your welcome sweet heart, well, you and I finally are waiting for interview and NVC per the rep should start schedualing for February the first week of January but in some cases it depends on the Embassy. But think God willing a Feb interview with some luck and prayers the first week.
Can anyone really grasp the enormity of what we have all gone through! I am truly amazed and thank God he has given us all the strength to get this far!
Now to give our proper's to the King of Kings.

Awww RobbieG thanks. But you know when you at NVC we all go a bit cray cray and NVC pushes us all to the edges I know I have been a bit snippy sorry. 2013 and 2014 was no bueno for me. But I have to say a special thank you for all of you passing through. All the I am approved and My baby coming home. Helps me heal. Brings joy to my soul. I laugh I cry. And frankly this is a happy joyous thread. Even when we roll our eyes at the millionth time "how do I track my casefile to the embassy". It's all good.
I may not get the same ending as you all fine people but I sure want the very best for you and I will always be here with the light on as long as they let me and be here with a cheer yell

I'm at work and just can't seem to focus... My husband will be flying in tomorrow and that's all I can think about. To say I'm excited does not begin to explain what I feel.
