What questions did they ask? How was the IO?
The IO that interviewed me was real nice, he even shared a immigration joke with me.
The questions that is was asked are:
- Name 1 State that borders Canada
- When was the constitution written?
- What is the Ocean on the east of the USA?
- What is freedom of religion?
- WHen are you required to register with the slective service?

I had my N-400 interview today and i passed the civic, writing and reading test. I now have my oath ceremony on April 21st. I notice today that everyone who did their interview today got April 21st for the oath ceremony.
- Parking
It is important to note that there is no parting at the federal building but there is a paid parking 1 block away and the best this it is cheap to park there. The rate is $1.50 per 45minutes.
- Seating
The building was just about 30 -40% filled with people.
The interview took about 15 minutes.

The USCIS said I should file a form 1722 to get my tax return for the past 3 years but i can't find this form on the IRS website. Please advice

But i paid for a biometrics with the N-400 application. Will I be refunded if they use my renewal biometrics?
You may not receive a biometrics appointment if your biometrics are still valid from your Removal of Conditions. The yellow letter seems to precede the interview letter by a few weeks so I would say you should be hearing something pretty soon. -
I rec'd a letter today on a yellow paper listing items i will need to provide on the day of the interview. However, i have no interview date yet neither do i have an appointment for biometrics.

I rec'd the NOTICE OF ACTION, I-797C today. I am not sure if they are asking me to submit any additional information to verify my address.
The I-797C, Notice of Action in the mail today. It states that:
"The above application has been received by our office and is in process. Our records indicate your personal information is as follows:"
"Date of birth: November 01, 1900 "
Address where you live: It states my current address here
Then it follows:
"Upon receipt of all required Record Checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office".
However, the letter doesn't state when I should get my fingerprints taken. Do I wait for a separate notice for that to come in the mail? If so, about how long does it take?
I just want to make sure everything is on the right track

This is my story or question..........
I am currently completing the N-400 form. To apply for my citizenship.
I move to the USA July 2006 on K-1 visa
Got Married Septemebr 2006 to US born spouse
Rec'd conditional green card december 20th 2006
So now that I have been married for 3 years and i have been a permanent resident since 12/20/2006. Should i submit the N-400 application now or wait until after 12/20/2009.

My first advice is to ask a better question.
This is about registering for the US military draft which is required for all males between 18 & 26.
You answer the question honestly and if needed supply the appropriate statement.
Here is the example form posted here on VJ http://www.visajourney.com/examples/N-400.pdf
I second that.
Sorry, i was in a rush i didn't asked my question i just made a statement. Why question was trying to find out if i just check yes or no for the following question:
"Are you a male who lived in the United States at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays in any status except as a lawful nonimmigrant?"
I checked "no" because i came here on a k-1 visa and i did register with the SSS
I don't understand. Did you get your green card before your 26th birthday? If yes, then your answer to that question should have been "yes" (green card LPR status is NOT the same as a being a lawful NONimmigrant). If no, then you shouldn't have registered for Selective Service. I'm assuming you're male, of course.
I got my green card at age 23 and i registered for selective service when i was 23

In the past on my immigration documents for my k1 visa and subsequently conditioanl green card, removal of condition on current green card i was always asked the question of children and i have always said none. But recently i found out that i had a child back in my home country which was born 6 months after i came to the usa. Should i now list that child on the N400 form?
-
I am working on submitting my N400 form but there are questions about dates such as:
- dates of trips outside the country
- dates lived at different address
- dates of employment
I have a good idea about these dates but not all of thee dates i am 100% sure about. does anyone know if i need exact dates.

Interview to remove condition status from GC
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
I had my conditional status removed from my green card last year. I got new GC without doing any interviews. All i did was complete the form and submit the required documents and did the biometrics.
However, my reason for posting is to find out if anyone who recently had there condition status remove had to do an interview? If yes how was the interview?
