    CFO stamp same day as flight, CFO interview done

    Hello all, almost done. At this point Retchel is waiting for her passport/ visa to be delivered. Being she lives just outside of Taclocan, near Naval I would like her to take a flight to Manila international airport in the morning then go to the CFO get her stamp, come back to the international airport and take the flight to the US that afternoon.

    Does this sound workable? She has already completed the CFO simi.

    Hello all,

    Just wanted to let you all know thank you for your support and the big day is finally today. After waiting 8 long months.

    Our interview is on April 22nd at 7:30 am.

    My fiance and I are at the Bayview Hotel Lobby now 5:15am on April 22nd and are ready to walk across to the USEM.

    I will have updates as soon as I get the results.

    Wishing everyone good luck for those who are having their interviews this week.

    My girl is 22 and she did the CFO at Cebu last week, which no partent consent was required on her K1

    SOMEONE POSTED HERE IN VJ THAT DURING THE CFO SEMINAR THEY WILL GOING TO ASK PARENT'S CONSENT AND TO BE NOTARIZE I THINK, FOR THOSE AGES 24 AND BELOW. IM TURNING 23 THIS COMING JUNE DO I REALLY NEED THAT? ANYONE WHO EXPERIENCED LIKE THIS? I NEED TO KNOW IT BECAUSE MY MOTHER IS STILL HERE WITH ME AND SHE WILL GO BACK TO OUR PROVINCE NEXT WEEK.     My girl has her interview on April 22 at 7:30, which I guess is the time for everyone :) anyway I was wondering how long is the process, so I know what time to book her flight back to Tacloban.

    ohhh ok!! 221g is means by AR also?? how long it may take if you have 221g documents verification? is the any ways to do to make processing of visa?

    Medical Exam Appointment

    My girl went a week early of the date given for the medical. she is on the second day of the medical as I type this. She just brought a copy for the email received for her interview appointment and other required doc, she got in no problem.

    Don't need to make an appointment, just print the email and show up at their doorstep at about 4:30 AM to be first in line. With all the required documents

    The same happened to me. First go to http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp and put in your MNL number and it will give you the interview and medical dates, you can do the medical on that date or print the confirmation email to show Saint Lukes and you can go early.

    I recently called the USEM and got an interview appointment for my fiancee. The confirmation email was sent to her that day. One they I noticed is that the confirmation message made no mention of her medical exam appointment. Are we supposed to set them up ourselves? If so, what will we need to do to make sure that the USEM has a record of everything? Thanks.

    I went back and typed in my number and it said that it could not find me on the appointment list. I have heard that they are very bad when it comes to updating the system. So are you saying that my fiancee and I can schedule her medical appointment ourselves? I thought that maybe the embassy set it up when they set up the interview date. Thanks.

    Ok, I just checked the appointment schedule and it has us listed as having an interview appointment on 5/20 at 7:00am instead of 7:30am which is listed i the confirmation email. I think I will have my fiancee there very early just in case. Also, we have a medical examination date set for 5/13. I guess as long as the medical exam is done prior to the interview it doesn't matter.

    Keep in mind Philippine airlines is the only one with non-stop to LA or San Francisco. Makes life a little easier for her :)

    St. Lukes (SLMEC) question?

    From what I have read they are open in Friday. My girl will be there in the morning for her exam, I will ask her to ask them and I will let you know tomorrow.

    What day's is St. Lukes (SLMEC) Open? I thought they were open Monday - Friday. My fiance told me yesterday they are closed on Friday. Maybe they are closed on Friday next week 4/18/08 for holiday ?

    Please help with the days they are open.

    Completed CFO at Cebu

    Retchel, completed her interview at the Cebu CFO. She wanted to be the first one, so she arrived at 3 AM (crazy girl). The only one there was the guard, so I called and chatted with her until 5 AM when all the rest of the girls started coming. She said they only allowed about 15 girls and the rest was turned away and told to come back another day.

    She went through the normal routine, and then went into the room for your interview. The interview was conducted by a Nun, who told her that she sleeps in a room above the CFO and was woke by Retchel's voice, then told Retchel she much be very excided to be with me as she had came so early for the interview. The Nun was also surprised and impressed by the 100 letters Retchel brought that I had sent her. She was only asked a couple of question and was told she passed.

    She did say one girl light a cigarette while in the CFO. Bad Idea, she was ask to leave and didn't get her certificate.

    She stayed at http://www.mangoparkhotel.com/ for about 1,500 paso. The morning of the interview she checked out and was allowed store her luggage behind the counter and picked them up after interview. She said it was a nice and safe place to stay, was also very close to the CFO.

    She is now in Manila sleeping getting read for you early medical tomorrow morning.

    I filed a K1 sometime back and the girl received the 221g, it was a year before they gave her a second interview. I send email, letters, called and all they would say is it is under review.

    when should i call the embessy my k1 was at the NVC on the 13th of march and they said it should be sent out in a week to the embessy that was on the 13th?

    My letter said the same. My letter was dated Feb 22, which I called them yesterday. They told me they hadn't set a date for me but the I was within the window so she could set me a date on the phone and did April 22. What range is your number. Mine is MNL200855xxx.

    You need to call the USEM to make an appointment. They changed their process they will not send packet 4 anymore.

    I just called the USEM and paid the 18 dollars. I gave them our number #MNL2008550xxx and they said there is no date yet, but that our number is in the window, she can make the appointment on the phone. April 22, this is GREAT.

    I was riding a mopped close to the old Clarks Air Force Base and some police were pulling over foreigners. They noticed me and pulled me over. I was told I needed to pay 20,000 paso or I was going to jail for not having my license on me.

    I told them I didn't have the money, but did in a safe at my hotel. They as where was the hotel. I told them the hotel was next to the tours police, they seemed not to like that and told me to cross the street and put the 2,000 paso I had in my pocket under the blanket in the back seat of the van parked there.

    Hello, how did you know the DHL number and what is cenomar? Our NVC number is NML2008550xxx, which is just in front of yours and haven't received anything yet. I have check the IV Schedule website (http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp) , which said no appointment date yet.

    2/27/2008 - Received hardcopy from NVC

    2/28/2008 - Received cenomar

    I have been trying to contact the NSO, so I can inquire the process and if they can tell me when our papers have been sent back to USEM. I will be calling again on Sunday night and hope they are in a good mood. I will let you know what happens. If you know for sure your papers are complete, then you should be able to travel with no worries at the interview. I'm already committed to go either way.

    My dates seem so close to yours. The letter I received from NVC is dated 02/22/08, which stated within a week it will be forwarded to Manila and my Case is NNL2008550xxx, but my girl or I haven't received any thing yet.

    I didn't see a thread for us April interviews. If you have an April interview date at the US Embassy Manila lets keep each other updated and supported!

    My interview date is April 22nd.
