the chances of your case being expedited because of knee surgery is just about zero. There are petitioners that have had babies, and dealt with life threatening illnesses such as cancer and could not get their cases expedited. Not to mention the fact that you are from Pakistan, the most difficult consulate to go through. Most people spend several months and often years in AP after the interview process in Islamabad.

LOL, this was me too. the last two months were the hardest by far. You are entitled to feel the way you do, so dont let any jerk tell you different. Hang in there. Soon enough your mate will be here! Like Gowon, I swore I was ready for my then Fiance, but really was not at all. He is here now, has been for a few months and sometimes I really, really have to remind myself how much time, effort and love we put into this journey ( if you get what I am saying) It will always be work, and sadly the waiting does not stop there. Sure, it may not make it go faster, but maybe it makes some feel better. As for me, I know no one who is or who has gone through this process, so VJ is all i had/have to vent, and beleive me...some days it has been my only saving grace.
Also considering VJ makes up about 5% of all applications...there are hundreds of thousands of people doing what we are doing...

I agree with the last three posters. it sounds a lot like PPD. it's more common then not. please try to get her some help. I wish you all the best, I hope it gets better.
