The girl in Like/Crazy was just so stupid - getting an extension on her student visa shouldn't have been that difficult - but I guess people do dumb stuff like that all the time. The scene where she tries to re-enter is so uncomfortable. But then it wasn't clear to me why they couldn't make it work in England somehow? Other than the fact they were really young and life just changes.
