I got my approved NO2 today at CSC.
Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

On August 6, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
My NO1 was September 01, 2012 (11 months 6 days) . So, may filers be patients your turn is coming.
I just cannot believe it has finally happened!! I arrived at work to find this unexpected gift in my email! I am just soo soo happy!!! Its hard to express how happy I feel!

I'm gonna guess that you were denied for something else. They would have sent an RFE if it was only for that. Either way, I think it was a bad suggestion by USCIS to wait for an RFE. You can send in additional documents at any point and have it added to your case.
