Hello, and Congrats on completing your interview. It's normal that the ceac website says admin processing right after the interview. All cases go through AP. But if it stays like that longer than a week or so, then it's the other dreaded long AP wait. But inshAllah yours won't be too long. Alhamdulelah my fiance's was only about 5 months and then we got the visa about 3 weeks after it was over. Good luck!

Where did you guys get this from? On their website it only states about today August 15th.

Just for your info guys the expiration date has no affect anymore once the consulate receives your packet, so don't worry about that. Our case expired on April 10th and our interview was not till May 15th. Good luck to all of you waiting...

You guys just gotta stay a bit patient these days. The embassy is dealing with a lot of rescheduling due to the current circumstances. We waited exactly three months to get our interview. We sent packet 3 Jan 29 and we got a phone call on Apr. 29 for the interview two weeks later. Keep yourself busy and just let the days pass. Don't try emailing them anytime soon cuz they will only reply with a copy/paste email that they send out to everyone and it will only frustrate you more. I would say give it from 2.5-3 months to hear back. I know the wait is difficult, but we got nothing to do. I wish you all the best.

Thanks for your input everyone. Unfortunately, the embassy keeps on saying there's no timeframe. I told them my fiance was told 3-6 weeks by the CO during the interview. They said if after 6 weeks it's not done, then it's just not done yet and you have to wait. So pretty much the time frame that was given is just a standard one. I really do hope everything is resolved quickly for all of us inshAllah. Good luck to all of you

woohh. Calm down a bit! First off, I will be the wife NOT the husband!! And I am currently residing with my fiance in our country until he gets his visa and we'll both travel to USA. And for your info, I am employed here!! So I am not being lazy! Anyways, there's much better and respectful ways to deliver a message to someone!! And please don't jump into conclusions!
