I am trying to make copies of all my documents, passports, boarding pass, etc.
did you guys do yours black and white or color? Does it really matter as long as everything is readable?

My fiancee lives in Ecuador, and i need to enter the address of her different jobs.
Should i translate the name of the streets to english if applied, or in spanish they should be fine?
-
This question might sound dumb, but do I make copies of the empty page as well? I mean there is a total of like 24 pages and only one has stamp side to side.

Yes I meant passport, damn auto correct

Hi, I was just getting my things ready for the k-1 package and I went to Ecuador in feb 2012 and July 2012 and I cannot find on my password the July 2012 stamps.
What should I do? Will the plane tickets, and pic do it?
And I think I remember them stamping it, maybe had no ink or is a special glow in the dark ink? Lol what should I do? Will I be okay without the stamp as long as I have the plane tickets?

Thank for the fast reply, and the reason why I asked the kissing is because we looked so happy and is not a sexual kissing is a romantic, but I agree with you guys.
I do have a lot of normal ones and ill send them all normal us as a couple.
Thank you all.

Hi, i have a simple question, i am preparing my K-1 package and i am including atleast 10 pic of my fiancee and I, and i know that variety counts, like different places and different people around us, my dilema here is that we have all that but 50% we are hugging and chilling and 50% we are kissing each other in the pictures.
Since i am only sending 10, what should i send? 8 kissing 2 chilling, or 7 chilling and 3 kissing, any help would be appreciated.
PS" i also have silly pic of us just being playful.

First I would like to state I am only 32 yrs old, in case the word "veteran" makes you think I'm old hehe
Anyways, I served in the Marines as an infantry for 4 years, I went to Iraq twice, and got all kind of good medals, I'm also receiving VA benefits, and I am trying to Bring my gf to be with me to get married.
My question is simple, does the USCIS takes any special consideration to veterans, does the process is quicker, and easier or is it the same for everyone?
If it is the same, that is okay, I was only wondering.
Ps" as a second question, I might also get a job working for the US Government, will that help as well?( please answer this as a second question, since I'm not sure yet, it all depends if money is good)
Thank you in advance!

Thank Andrea, that was very useful!
So, after reading that, this is my plan.
Send the application sometime this month, get engaged on February (which is next time ill be there) takes lots of pic, do an engagement party, rings, etc the whole nine yard.
At that time, I am binging my mom so she can get to meet her and at the same time she gets to visit Ecuador as well
And tht should be it right? Jut sent the I-129f form for k-1 petition and get engaged and just wait? I don't need any other form? Just send and wait to hear back?
-
Also, we have talked every single day since the first time we met, and her whole family knows me and we have plenty of pic of us having fun together.
-
I have Been there twice, once in February 2012 for 10 days and second on August 2012 for 20 days.
I have done some research since yesterday, I know the k-1 is easier to get her here but the paperwork afterward is extensive, right now she doesn't need to work, I can afford to support her so job permission is not an issue.
I just wanna be with her here and be happy with her.
Then I heard spouse visa takes too long but she will get a green card right away and not too much paperwork involved once she is here. If I go for the spouse visa, I am planning on marrying her this February when I am going there again, and no we haven't been engaged, we are just planning a civil wedding and party afterward.
What do u guys think, I love this girl and she loves me, she is not coming here for paperwork, she is coming here to spend her life with me, but I wanna do things right and know what is the quickest and safest way for us to be together.
-
One more thing, my gf and i are not oficial y engagged (party, ring, etc) but we are planning on doing so. Can I still file for I-129 form today?
I mean we have been talking everyday day since February and her family is aware of my intentions.
Do I need to get engaged first before I send out this form?
One more question, what do u guys recommend, fiancé or spouse visa, I mean, there is no rush for her to be here, she is in school and she'll be done in October.
I just don't know what to do, whih one is easier and more convenience.

Okay then, I need your guys help, I met my now girlfriend on February 18, 2012.
Can I still apply for fiancée visa? Or do I need to know her for 2 years? I don't want to wait 2 years.
Also, I'm planning on going to Ecuador this February 2013, if I am not elegibable to get te fiancée visa because I don't know my gf long enought, I am planning on marrying her then. What do you guys suggest.

I was wondering how long does it usually take to get a visa fiancée done, from start to the date they get the visa, an estimate would do it.
And I was wondering how much the total cost is?
Also, has anyone hire a lawyer for this process or they do them on their own, does anyone know how much a lawyer would charge for the entire process, an estimate would do as well.
Thank you.
Ps" please don't say "go ask a lawyer" because if I wanted to I wouldn't asked it here.
-
Thank for all the info. I have heard the spouse visa a d fiancée visa.
I heard fiancée visa is easier, faster and cheaper, could any of you guys with experience tell me, how easier, how cheaper and how quick is than the spouce visa?
I am also thinking on hiring a lawyer, how much Gould that run me for from the time I hire him to the time I get my sweatheart here, an estimate would be good, no exact number is okay.

I am a USA citizen and Ecuadorian citizen and I have been dating a girl from Ecuador for the past 2 years, I have been back and fort.
I was wondering what do I need to do? Do I just go to Ecuador and married her? Do I married her as USA citizen or Ecuadorian citizen?
Do I need any documents from over here? I mean, I don't want to get there and realize we can't do it because I forgot some paper work.
I am totally lost and I figured I would ask here in case someone has done it. My last resource is a lawyer.
So, do I just go and married her? Just like that? What do I know to bring with me?
Ps" I am single, never married and one I have one daughter who is 2 yrs old who lives with her mom
Ready to send my k-1 package, am I missing something?
