We recently got approved for the k-1 package and my fiancée would like for her mom to be present.
Could anyone please tell me what are my chances, the name of the process and if VJ has instructions on how to do them or when can I find them, and how long this process take as my fiancée will be in the states by November 2013 and we have 90 days to get married.
Any help on answering all my questions would be helpful.

Yes she is. And leaves in te USA with her mom.
I was just curious if they even ask for those things.
-
Yes it was a typo, and thank you!
I will add all up and bring the proof with me.

My kid lives with her mom and I give her monthly allowance for her.
My interview is soon, and everything with mi kid and her mom is in order, nice and clean.
Just wondering if I need like a birth certificate, or ssn of my kid?
I'm just curious.

It asks for my annual income.
Lets say at my job I make 35k
But, I am also a disable veteran and I get VA benefits, should I add that to the "annual income" or I should justu put 35k?
I mean, there is nt a section that says other.
I also have a letter from the VA saying how much I get from them just in case.

On question 8, it asks,
the following person are dependent upon me for support.
what should i put for that?
I have a 3 years old daughter who lives with her mom and she doesn't work, just gets state help and i provide monthly allowance for my daughter.
should i put my daughter in that field, and it also asks for wholly dependent, or partially dependent, which one should i chose.

Disregard, I guess they were busy! Lol because now I can get through.

When I call (603) 334-0700 I get a busy tone; does this mean they r on the line, or the number is no longer working?
I mean, this is 2013 and I refuse to believe they don't have "place on hold" system so I can wait for the next available rep.
Can anyone please tell me how they contact them to find out if they forwarded the k1 to fiancées country?

Helpful information! Thank you.

"On May 10, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice."
The weird part is that I never received a text, but I did for the NOA1; either way, I'm glad I checked my status today hehehehe.

Once again, thank everyone. I have everything I need to convince her and she agrees with u guys. We will just wait.
And catholic are not Christian, because Christians don't pray to any saints except for Jesus and Catholics pray to like 10+ saints; at least, that is how I see it

Thank you everyone. This all make sense and I will show my fiancée this page.
I will suggest just a small blessing by our priests; by the way, this is all Christian church and not a catlic church.

So, My fiancee wants to get married in her country the next day after we get approved for our K-1.
She just wants to leave her country and family as a married woman. All she cares about is getting married through church, she said the civil one can be done in America.
By as getting married by church after the approval, will that mess our process in any way? I mean, church all they give is a certificate of marriage and that is it, nothing is documented, I think lol.
So what do u guys think, is this a good move relating our K-1 process?
-
Yeah that is what I meant hehe, she my fiancee needs one. And fanton, it cost $85.
Thank you guys.
-
Thank you guys. After reading from you guys I found out I do need one and I know how to get it now.

My fiancée is who needs the passport. So I guess I have to get her a passport and the so called "add visa package?" or something like that? Tht cost extra. Is this what everyone else has done? Get a passport and add the visa package, or just the passport itself.
-
So, right now I'm waiting to get my NOA2 and I was going through some readings on how to setup an appointment interview whenever is my time, and there is a step where it says "enter passport number" and also says that she needs to bring a passport to the interview.
This might be a dumb question, but do I need to get her an Ecuadorian passport now, or is it something issue by the country consulate as part of the process.
I totally forgot about the passport part.
So if it is something I need to get right now on my own, please let me know because it doesn't say anything about "getting a passport" in the "K-1 steps and guides."

How is everyone doing? I mailed mine in Nov 7, 2012, now waiting on NOA2.
Please let me know how are you guys doing

Just a random question, is this okay? Will this interfere with our case. I just want to make sure everything will be the same or will it make things more complicated
Thank you all, you guys are the best!

After reading a few forums I noticed that after aos the green card comes next. Shouldn't that be enought for her to go back and forth as she pleases as long as she has the Greene card? Or even with a green card she will need to fill out forms to go on vacation?
-
Lets say we get married in march 2013. What needs to happen before she can go back and visit her parents for December in Ecuador? Like what does she needs to have done? What would be the last thing she would need? And is there enought time?

Thank guys, after further review, and determination I have decided to ditch the binder and go for the tick paper clip, I have come to the conclusion that is a lot faster and easier to review than a freaking binder with plastic sleeves.
You guys r the best!
-
Now I am questioning my binder. What do you guys think? Is a 3 ring binder and all the doc. Are in plastic sleeves.
And do I really need a return label as well?
-
I can use my company UPS system to ship my k-1.
I have put all the doc. In a 3 ring binder; now, my question is, do I put this binder in a big yellow envelope or a box or what? How did I guys ship yours?
I just want it to look professional and I don't want the USCIS to be like "what the heck is in the box," or the box is fine?
Please advice an thank you
What if k-1 visa expire before fiancée enters the USA.
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
I'm jut curious, we got approved on July 15 2013 and the lady who approved us said she has until dec 31 2013 to travel. I am just curious cuz fiancée wants to spend Xmas at home and I am a very cautious man cuz u never know something could happen.
So, what if her visa expires and she doesn't make it by dec 31, what is the process, how easy or collocates it is?
