Lets just say she not welcome in my home anymore. I just want to ensure that she is out of my life. I don't so much care if she is in the States, but just not in my home. I was checking to see if the the sponsoring citizen can withdraw their support. I want an assurance she is not able to visit ME anymore.

I sponsored my soon to be ex-mother-in-law on a tourist Visa In January. Is there anyway I can have this visa revoked by contacting the granting embassy(Ukraine)? Anybody have experience with such a situation?

We were there 1 minute and we were approved and told we will receive the green cards in two weeks. I want all of you make certain at your interview that the officer has your A-file, otherwise your process can be delayed like ours. Due to the local Las Vegas offices error we had to wait an extra 5 months.

This will the be second round of AOS interviews for my wife and child today. During the first interviews, the local office did not have the A-file so it was a waste of time. This was in June so we had to wait until now due to USCIS error. I will let everyone know how it goes.

My wife and stepdaughter both had AOS interviews in June without the A-file being at our local office. During my stepsdaughter's interview, she is only six, the officer did order the A-file. He told us to wait and for another interview letter to come in the mail. One month later, we called the toll-free number and they said all of the processing was complete and the files were now in Las Vegas. We made an info pass appointment and the officer told us to be patient and wait for the letter. Does this sound correct? What can we do to facilitate the process? This is so frustrating because they scheduled two interviews when the A-files were sitting in another state.

Let me tell you, we had a strange interview in Vegas too. The good thing was, we were approved on the spot. Was your officer a young dude in his 20's?

This guy was older, but he was a rambling fool. I am not sure where we go from here.

We had our interview with the basic assortment of questions. We provided the necessary documentation and we were asked to sign an arbitrary line at the bottom of the page where the officer made some notes. He said he did not have the original petition so there was nothing further to do at this point. He did not even provide us with and direction for should occur next. What does this mean if they do not have the original I-485 and it is at the service center? Is this our problem. We are so confused.

I received the same letter and card arrived in the mail a few days later. Congratulations.

My wife received the 90 day EAD stamp in Vegas and, of course, it expired before the 1 year EAD was mailed to us. We even filed EAD and AOS paperwork immediately after she arrived. The process is absurd.

Yippie. My wife received her card today:) As it turned out a recent RFE for her daughter's I-485 did not impact the receipt of her EAD card.

If your 2005 tax return included a W-2 then a copy of your 2005 tax return is not complete without it.

Request and submit an IRS transcript of your 2005 tax return if you don't have a copy of the W-2.

I filed electronically. I have my printed record from Turbotax, but I do not have the W2.

Is it completely necessary to submit most recent w2. Will 2005 tax return suffice along with employer letter and recent paystub? I have all of my previous W2's, but my wife tossed my 2006 W2 on accident.

My step daughter, age 5, received and RFE for documentation we already submitted;nonetheless, this is for her I-485. My wife already has her AOS interview date, but we are still waiting for her EAD card. My question is: Would her daughter's RFE effect the receipt of her EAD card? Could her daughters RFE delay or preclude her from receiving her EAD until she provides the additional evidence for her daughters AOS.

My wife has interview June 6th at the Las Vegas USCIS office. I hope we have the same experiece that you both had.

Do we need to again produce all the documents that we submitted with the I-485? Sadly, I did not copy the entire packet, only a few items. What is the bare bones we can get by bringing to the interview? Shouldn't USCIS have all of our documents with the I-485?

Great news! My wife's NOA1 is 2-21-06. I am hoping for great news anyday now!!!

My wife has NOA1 of 2-21-06 for both her I-485 and her I-765. She had her biometrics done and we have an interview June 6 , 2006 date for AOS. If she passes the interview should we expect the conditional green card to arrive shortly thereafter? Also most importantly, can we expect the EAD card to arrive any day since we have the AOS interview so soon? My wife now cannot drive or work since her 90 EAD has expired and still the one year card has not arrived.

That depends on where you are in the process -- if it's been close to 90 days since filing, then you can get it within a week. If it's only been 30 days since filing, then it can be up to 2 months.

Our NOA1 is 2/21/06. I did notice that ithe I-785 was "touched" this morning. I hope the EAD card is in the mail. The process is ridiculous!~

My wife just had her biometrics for her EAD yesterday. What is a typical wait time until we receive the actual EAD card?

I may have posted incorrectly before. My wife received a notice to appear at our local office for an appoitment for both I-485 and I-765. The letter was titled ASC appointment notice. Will she recive her EAD card during this appointment? The notice also states that the USCIS must capture herr biometrics to process her application. I am just hoping she will get the EAD at this time.

My wife has a 2-21-06 NOA1 for her I-485 and I-765. Today we received her biometrics appointment for both. Where does this place us in the process? When can we expect for her to recieve her EAD card? At the at the Biometrics appointment? Her temp. EAD will expire 4-19-06. Should she expect to receive it at the biometrics appointment?

My checks for my wife's I-485, EAD, and Biometrics were cashed, yet USCIS did not cash the check for my step-daughter(age 5). I guess I will find out why when I receive the NOA1.
