  1. I agree. Our application was transferred to CSC and today we got an e-mail informing us that they approved our green card application without interview.

See....just as I said: You filed after I did, we live in the same state, and you already got your approval. I really should stop looking at other people's timelines

But before I give up that annoying habit: When was your case transfered (as myIntn0313 would like to know as well)?

And the most important thing: Congratulations to you! I still remember when we were both trying to get our vcaccination supplements filled out :D

    Enjoy your celebration :)

They transferred our application June 29, 2006. Yeah, we cannot believed it either. We are expecting to have an interview since we are just 10 minute drive to the immigration office. But I guess we have to wait for the real card in the mail then we can now celebrate. We are not waiting for my wife's EAD card (which was approved June 15) anymore. Instead, we are waiting for a green card.

CWR, yes it seemed a long time for that civil surgeon thing. We are looking for your timeline and expecting that if you got approved we will be the next. Did you get interview appointment? Is your application also transferred?

    Good luck to all.

  2. Hello again. Did you move since your wife's EAD got approved? My problem is that, after I got approved, we moved a couple of days after. Nevertheless, we moved just a couple of blocks away so I still had the chance of checking our old mailbox. Thats why I know that my EAD card did not arrive yet. Nobody could tell for sure where my card now is. It's crazy, this system that they have here. I am so frustrated already. I seeked legal advice already and the advice I got is to apply for a replacement card if I still did not receive anything by July 27.

Hopefully, the receipt notice of the replacement card would suffice the requirements for now in the I-9 form. My employer is getting anxious already.

Hello. No we did not move. We got a good news today though. My wife got an e-mail from USCIS stating that they approved her green card and they ordered her a card and will be mailed to her as soon as it is ready. Wow! Without interview. Maybe that will be the same to you as well.

    Good luck.

  3. Hi again,

Any news yet on your wife's EAD? Did she receive it yet? Up to now, mine isnt here yet. I went to USCIS here and asked them if it was somehow returned to them only to find out that it's still out there. I am getting so frustrated already. When is the best time to reapply for a replacement card and what are the requirements? The officer showed me a copy of the details on the EAD (alien number and duration) that they sent me (apparently) but they did not give it to me. My employer's attorney is so strict and they want to see the actual card. I am going insane now with the daily waiting for nothing.

Hi. We went to the immigration office today but they said same thing that it has been approved on June 15 and they will be mailing it to us. That's crazy. We cannot do nothing but wait. :crying::crying::crying:

  4. I hope somebody could help me with a similar experience. I received an email from USCIS that my EAD case was approved last June 21 and my card was requested already for processing. However, I received another email after a week saying that last June 27 2006, an approval notice was mailed. It's been past two weeks already and I havent received any approval notice nor the EAD card. I went to our local USCIS here to ask if they have some tracking information as to the status of my EAD card, only to find none. They even told me that it should take only 5 days for the mail to arrive. I am quite frustrated because I am afraid that it might be lost in the mail or something.

Does somebody know how long an EAD card normally arrives after approval? What is the best way for me to do aside from wait in vain at the mail everyday..

    Thanks a lot...

Hi! You are not alone. According to the immigration, my wife's EAD card got approved last June 15, 2006 but until now it is NOT YET in the mail. My wife is desperately waiting for it and always checks our mail box every now and then. We will try to have an info pass again this Monday if nothing came up this week. (90 day processing period was June 30). Goodluck!
