congratulations

Hey guys!
I had my K-1 visa interview on 11/25/2014 at the US Embassy in Budapest, Hungary and I was approved. I checked the visa status on the CEAC website yesterday and it said "Issued". Today morning I received an email and a call from the delivery service that the embassy uses that I will receive my package today.
At 10:50am local time I received my passport (with the K-1 visa in it) and the sealed brown envelope that I will have to carry with me and give to the IO at POE.
I'm so happy that everything went smoothly and only 2 days after the interview I have the visa in my hand! I already have my plane ticket, I will enter the U.S. on December 6th, one day after my 24th birthday! A few days after POE I'll apply for a Social Security Card, then me and my fiancé will get married (still in December), and after that I will get a new Social Security Card with my married name. We will file for AOS/EAD/AP in January.
I'm so happy to say that my K-1 journey has come to an end and it's a happy ending! I can't wait to start my new life in America with the man of my dreams.

Its been 40 days since NVC received our IV Package. I know we're not at the 60 business day standard statement that NVC tells us ever week we call, but regardless, 60 days business days for each document (2.5 months) has been a tough wait. I know a lot of you are in the same boat, but I just needed to vent a bit. Been trying to be as patient as possible, trying to distract myself as much as possible from not being with my wife.
Best of luck to everyone on this forum going through the process. The support and advice I've gotten from here has been great, and I'm glad I could be part of this community.

I noticed somebody asked a week or so ago if there was a list of all RFEs so people could look out for possible "boo-boos." So here we go!
My RFE reason was;
The forms we downloaded didn't tell us to add evidence of meeting in the past two years or frontal face photographs. Which is weird because we got them directly off the London Embassy site. So we got an RFE for basically the other half of what you're suppost to send origionally. We started the K-1 appliciation before we found this forum so we were kinda just going with the instructions as best as we could. We say if you're just starting the I-129F download it from VJ...they seem to have the right instructions....
