Your card is still being produced, and you will get updates with tracking number when the post office receives your card. Congratulations!

Today was a great Long Day. MY fiancee and I went to the embassy very early with the intention of being first in line however that didn't happen because while waiting to enter a friend who had just had his interview the day before advised us to make photocopies of all our original documents or we wont be allowed to complete the process....fast forward we got in quite late my fiance(petitioner) was not allowed in originally because they only allow citizens in after 8:30am. We got in made our payment and waited for 5 hours to be called to the window to submit our documents . The lady was very helpful, helped us arrange all our documents and also we were told then that the DS156 form we needed 2 copies so quickly it was filed out and added. we had over 87 pictures and chat history over 300 pages worth as well as e-mail correspondence and receipts as well. she actually didn't take any documents that were bearing the name of the petitioner alone. we sat again for what seemed like an eternity and he was called for biometrics . after which another waiting period . then finally we were called to the window for interview. were were asked how we met , and how many times i visited him . the rest was casual chat . she flipped through the album and asked when we getting married . after which she gave us the approval slip . TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!!. we are thankful to the VJ family for all the advice, help, encouragement and kind wishes. The journey is not over s we will continue to be in touch . wish all those with upcoming interviews all the best of luck . and I will advice that you be completely prepared and ORGANIZED ! . thank you all .

Op- are you saying you offered to fly your family to see him and he denied you? Or did you ask him to apply for a tourist visa and come to see you and your family? If the second, he may just be realistic- it is extremely unlikely he'd get A tourist visa.
