Hi guys!!!
Do you know if I need to get a new passport with my name change or is it okey to travel outside the USA with my green having my married last name and my passport having my maiden last name? I thought I read something in here that you need to carry your marriage certificate? is that enough? or you think I need to get a new passport??? what's better??

Thank you so much for your help Jay-Kay. I had my interview yesterday and I they not asked me for my records, and I got approved.... thanks so much for all the help

Once you have a case number from the NVC you need to EMAIL the embassy to request an interview date.
in the subject just write " Appointment Needed" and in the email just write your complete name and case number that's it nothing else.
They will send you an automatic response and a couple of days after they will reply back with your interview date. I called the embassy after I sent the email and then called 2 times before i got my interview date, they don't like people calling, I still did.

I received an email from the embassy with the packet for the things we need to prepare for my fiances appointment. We have prepared the documents and i emailed them to schedule an appointment. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to reply and how soon the appointment will be?
