I've brought my two cats, 13 and 3 years old. The youngest is a Chartreux, so whatever happens, they don't move neither say a word. But at the landing, she pooped in her carrier. The other one is another story... She wasn't happy at all so we gave her the medication. They travelled with us under the seats in a small carrier but well made. They slept most of the time.
And we travelled a long way... Two hour bus for the airport, 8 hours plane and another hour in another plane. The problem was at the customs, as usual, not nice with us and they wanted us to take them in our arms. The oldest peed... So bring towelettes!
Also don't forget there is toilets so they can drink. A little time also in the toilet in the plane was good for the old one who hates her carrier.
I didn't buy the carrier they recommend and they travelled with us at our feet.

I didn't offer an opinion on whether you care or not. It doesn't matter to me if you like them or they like you. I'm merely trying to come up with a reason that Quebecers would tip normally wherever else they go but not in Vermont.
Your attitute towards them seems somewhat disdainful. Is that typical of most people in Vermont? That would probably explain a lot.

Ok my honey just called so I wanted to let you know that he sent a fax to the Congresswoman and then called and they said they'd call USCIS. They called him back saying they were working on our case!!!!
I feel sooooooooo relieved

I wanted to provide an update about this service. I ran into some complications with my Visa and they were not very helpful or knowledgeable (their basic service is very efficient though as I stated in my earlier post). I was able to get advice and assistance gratis from another visa service so I thought that I would let people know about these guys also. They are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and respond very quickly. Based on my interactions with them I would recommend them if you think you might hit any complications with your visa due to their local expertise. pinayvisa.com
The original service that I commented on costs about $500 through the embassy interview. They then offer an additional service to file papers once you hit the U.S. which is also quite expensive.
This 2nd service that I'm mentioning charges $500 all the way to green card which is much cheaper overall since they take you aaaallllll the way through the process including all paperwork in the U.S. so I think it's much cheaper in the long run if you are going to use a service.
Good luck to all of you guys going through this whatever you decide about using or not using a service. This forum is a huge help.

When i started the process i didn't have any idea about this forum and i was thinking of hiring an attorney. I eventually went with a site called easyfiancevisa and i would say that in my opinion it was worth he money -300 dollars as they guided me through the process and reviewed all my documents, you just fill out all the documents online at their website and they review and check for errors. They provided me with a checklist and i called with any questions i had. Its risky doing everything by yourself and i don't think people should discourage others form getting some help from an experienced place of their choice on this journey.
