    We filed in December 2011 and got stonewalled for nearly 9 months by VCS. My wife-to-be contacted her congressman and by the next day we had a decision and an NOA2 on the way. Highly recommend that if you're still waiting, you get your representatives involved.

    I really recommend getting your American spouse-to-be to contact their congressman. We heard nothing from VSC for over 8 months despite repeated requests for an update. The day after we contacted her representative, the NOA2 got sent.

    Nope, and only just got our NOA2 after more than 8 months - the day after we got our congressman involved!
