Just take your time, gather and organize every thing you can possibly find. As long as everything has the same address, you will be fine. Remember to explain why some things are not available.

She defrauded you for immigration benefits after having a child with you? I'm a bit curious, Did you even consider your son when making those decisions?

That's not possible since he already has a green card. All you can do is divorce him and move on; the affidavit of support will remain in effect.

Presuming you mean under what conditions the affidavit of support will end at, not until one of the following occurs:
    (i) He dies.
    (ii) You die.
(iii) He becomes a US citizen.
(iv) He ceases to be an LPR (i.e. his green card is invalidated by an immigration judge or he voluntarily surrenders it).
    (v) He can be credited with forty quarters of work by the Social Security Administration (i.e. if he works full time then he would reach this in ten years).
If you mean what is the "conditional" part of his conditional green card, he can file for Removal of Conditions at the designated time without you, provided he can establish that he entered the marriage in good faith, even if it ended in divorce.

As a student, I'm sure she was able to get an EAD,SS and DL on her own. Also I don't think it would be possible to be in school if she was illegal so I'm assuming her student visa was still valid.
I'm sorry that this happened to you but don't be surprised if she files for VAWA.
I personally know of someone who was in the exact situation where the husband didn't show up for the interview and her application was denied. After spending thousands of dollars and hiring an experienced immigration lawyer, she now has a 10yrs greencard.
Why would you marry her, sign and file the application then withdraw everything because she moved away for school and to be close to family?

That's the reason why it was returned. You can only file concurrently if your spouse is a US citizen. Once she get her citizenship, you can send back the documents that was returned.

Totally normal. It means that you will be scheduled for an interview. Once the interview is scheduled at your local office, you will be notified.

Just bring GC, passport and or Drivers License. You don't have to reapply. They will just update your status in their system and mail you an unrestricted Social security card. If you had a name change, you might want to bring marriage certificate as well.

Your wife will probably get the GC and you will probably be responsible for her until she becomes a citizen. She came here on a fiancé visa to marry you, which I'm assuming she did. Why wouldn't they give her a GC and hold you responsible since that's what you signed up for?

Why didn't he get a social security card without the restrictions? I applied for jobs recently and only use my DL and SSC. I asked if they wanted to see GC/ extension letter, they said No. I just made sure I had my A# when filling out I-9 form. I don't even think employers should be asking for GC if you can present other documents from the list. He shouldn't have any problems though.

All concurrent filing (I-130& I-485) goes to the Chicago lockbox. From there it will go to NBC for processing then to your local office for an interview.

She can only adjust status through the person who brought her here. Since she has filed VAWA, she will eventually get a Greencard through that. She should be able to get married after she receive a Greencard though...$18000 is ridiculous!!!!
