I became a US Citizen today! 67 people from 34 countries. The ceremony took place at the Federal courthouse in Milwauke,WI. The judge spoke for about 10 minutes. We all repeated the Oath of Allegiance after her and then an USCIS officer issued our certificate. 
The appt letter says 1pm but the Ceremony was actually 2pm. I was there at 12:30.😒
I am just so grateful and happy to be done.

My status was just updated! I was placed in line for Oath Ceremony. I’m guessing it means I was approved?

I had my interview at the Milwaukee FO yesterday. I passed the interview but the “decision cannot be made” box was checked. The IO states that he is a fairly new officer and he need to have his supervisor review my file before approving.
Overall, the interview went well. My appt was at 0830 and I was called in around 0845. I was in my car at 0910. I had to make a few changes such as confirming address and new job. Answered the Y/N questions and that was it. The officer was very nice, kept smiling and making small talks. I was exhausted after driving 1.5 hrs and just wanted to get out of there.
I was very surprised to see all the people in the waiting room wearing jeans, sandals, shorts, t-shirts to such an important interview..😳
The questions asked:
1. Name of the National anthem
2. Why are there 13 stripes of the flag
3. Rule of law
4. Ocean on the West coast
5. How old citizens have to be to vote for president
6. I forgot the 6th one
Reading: How many US senators do we have?
Writing: We have one hundred US senators.
 
The waiting game continues.... Hopefully I’ll hear something soon.

Thanks for taking the trip to the FO and sharing. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon. Milwaukee is usually faster. I just can’t understand why when they’re empty most of the time.🙈

Don’t do the chest X-ray. Do the Quantiferon Gold blood test instead. It will show negative and that information will be enough for immigration. I work in the medical field and have to do the blood test annually to show that TB is inactive. I only did the blood test for immigration as well.
Also, avoid doing the TB skin test since you already know you will have a positive reaction.

I am very busy with school and work so the waiting doesn’t bother me too much. I am also applying based on the 5 yr but only had my right hand fingerprinted. Also my 5th year anniversary was on September 19,2017 
Received an email yesterday exactly 2 week’s post biometrics that there are no updates on my case.🤷🏽‍♀️
 

I did mine last week and was told to remove earrings (eventhough they were so small you could barely see them). The letter says no phone so I just left mine in the car. 

Unfortunately this is America and your tone  and  how you approach certain people goes a long way. It sucks, I know but being granted a greencard or a stamp in your passport is a privilege and not a right. 
Everyone's journey is different and because it worked for other people on here, doesn't mean it will work for you.

If you stay out of troubles way then you should be good until you file.
Know that the school will terminate your sevis record once you become out of status.

It's been a little over 2 months since you filed and a little over 1 month since bio. All you have to do now is wait. Soon they'll either approve your EAD or send you an interview date or both. If they need additional documents from you, they send you a RFE. I wouldn't worry too much.

Divorce is the way to go if you plan on filing ROC petition with a waiver.
