hi, my NOA2 is Aug2013 , what would be the next docs that USCIS will send? thanks
Next step for you is to call NVC for your case # and invoice identification number (IIN). It's taking around 2-3 weeks for them to generate your case #.

Im sorry guys IV means is that affudavit of supporting with the supporting documents they need that we need to pass at nvc from us? so if we already pass that, so we are waiting theri decision if we are case complete now? what about the payment of visa , the $230 if im not mistaken?
IV is the Immigrant visa application which is the DS230. You have to pay your IV fee invoice first which is $230 inorder for you to print out the coversheet that will go with your IV packet so you can send it to NVC.

How come mine is not even reviewed???
If they told you they received it then I guess it means it's under review? Coz that's what they kept telling me with my AOS and IV and my AOS was accepted after 17 days.
-
Hi Tinjf10, did you check with the NVC? Does the current status mean you are case complete?
@Apple21 - good luck for CC. You are almost at the end of the stipulated wait time.
Not yet. They said my AOS was fine. I'm still waiting for my DS230 to be accepted because I sent them separately.
-
I know so I called NVC right away and they said everything is fine. Now, you got me worried. ? I'll call them back tomorrow just to be sure. I wrote the case # on the IV docs and pics too. I can't remember if I did on my AOS.
-
I just woke up and checked my email and I thought they're asking me to resend all my documents because I didn't write the beneficiary's name and case # at the upper right hand of my docs. And I was thinking that is so ridiculous if they expect me to wait for another 20 days just because I forgot to write that! Lol!
You will be case complete soon apple21! ???

I just got off the phone with them, they said my AOS is fine. They were just waiting for the DS230 now. I sent it on July 25, they entered it to their system on july 29. But I'm not suppose to receive that checklist if it's okay right? I'm confused but they said it's fine
-
The checklist of missing info/docs comes with the email.
I have read the 3 pages of their email and nothing that says that I need to fix anything or send anything. Is that like a false checklist? The last page was asking about the DS230 which I sent on aug 5th and it was entered to their system on aug 8th.

I sent the AOS and DS230 separately.
-
After 18 days since I mailed my AOS, I received a checklist but where do I see the missing documents or parts that I need to fix? The letter basically says they reviewed the documents and if there's anything missing that I have to send it again with the coversheet and put the beneficiary's name, category and case # on all pages. I don't know what I need to fix. Help! Thanks!

As Kanga said, the yellow letter just tells you things they want you to bring to the interview that you may or may not have already sent in with your application. Usually you get that letter before your interview is scheduled. I'm guessing you're going to get your interview letter shortly in the mail.
I checked it and still in initial review. How long do they usually send out Interview letter after that? Thanks!
-
What does the yellow letter means? Does it mean that I am in line for interview because I haven't heard anything after my bio in May 23.
-
AOS was delivered on July 26th and IV package was received by NVC yesterday Aug. 6
-
Most of you guys have received your interview letters. It has been 2 months and 2weeks since I had my biometrics and haven't heard anything. New Orleans' office is very slow. My sister's interview was scheduled a year after her biometrics, this was my fear whenever I applied. I might have to contact our congressman because I can't wait that long.

I am getting ready to send out our IV docs but I am a little worried regarding my husband's (beneficiary) "present occupation" because he's still looking for a job. He has been working since 2008 til I had my vacation in March 2013 and been looking for job for 4 mons now? Do you think it will affect his immigrant visa application if he is unemployed at this time? But he put N/A to that question, we don't want to lie but hopefully it won't affect him getting a visa. Thanks!

NVC just entered my AOS and IV package into their system for review. Now the waiting begins...
Did you have to call NVC to make sure they received it or do they inform you via email?
-
mon-fri: 8am-midnight eastern time
Thanks! ?
-
sometimes.. you have to keep calling
middle evening east coast time works best
We can call them 24/7? Lol
-
Is it really hard to contact NVC? I'm getting a busy tone every time I try to call them.
-
Is it easier if the choice of agent is the petitioner? I need some advice. Thanks!
-
And I can just send the DS 3032 after we have the case number?
-
We were approved on july 3, do I start calling now? And also I am the petitioner, should I prepare all that too? What's NSO MC?

You don't have to wait for ds3032 for AOS, you can send your AOS after paying your AOS invoice so you can print your coversheet. However, you have to wait for your ds3032 to be accepted before you send your IV package.
