That's the only income either way since you stated in a previous post you did not have any income at all in 2015 either in the UK or US.

ok ive had no EAD or AP notifications
but i cjecked my receipt numbers today, the receipt number for my actual AoS says the following
"On December 16, 2015, we approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxx. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
the two uscis numbers for the AP and EAD still says the same old thing about how its been received
    wht does this mean?

-PiLoT- reacted to Nich-Nick in K1 Fiance visa London consulate
**EDIT: I was typing while Chas was answering, so it ends repeating much of what he already said.
K1's in London do not schedule their interview. Once your medical exam results reach the consulate, you will be in line to be assigned an interview. The embassy will notify you by letter of the date.
Once you have the date, then register and pay on the IMMIGRANT visa site https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv (I believe your link was to nonimmigrant visas.)
This thread will give you an idea of how long between the medical exam date and interview date. You will see it isn't really a exact standard length of time. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/549078-medical-to-interview-date-how-long-2015-data/. Go to the last post to see the full list.

What's unfortunate is that he does something illegal that could jeopardize his chance to join her in the US or remain in the US. It's a good practice for immigrants to obey the law so they never have these kind of worries.

I get to pick Kas up in 3 hours! It's so surreal that I won't have to plan holding back tears for the goodbye. I've been cleaning the apartment all day making sure it's tidy and smells nice! I'm so incredibly happy to see him and to officially have him!
Again, I am so thankful to have found this community and rely on it throughout the thick and thin of this first initial step. Thank you again to anyone who has helped us along the way... Especially the forum god/dess (nich-nick)!

I personally left a three hour layover and only needed about an hour of it however the airport (Vegas) wasn't very busy and better to be safe than sorry! I'd shoot for three hours.

PiLoT, my fiancé loved your review. He's now amused/nervous of meeting grumpy Asian lady. I just want to confirm, they do give you back the originals (the birth certificate) right? I've heard of them forgetting.. or people forgetting to ask for it back.

Essentially. I think its a culmination of stress from handling all of his affairs and this interview. I've relayed all the reviews to him, he's read reviews on British Expats, London seems to be a breeze. I'm banking it's just the stress that is getting to him.
I know we'll be fine. Our petition was so front loaded, it was unreal. Since it was submitted, we met one more time in New York for a brief weekend, so he's insisted on taking more photographs with him.
I think he's a little worried about us being a same sex couple-even though I live in a state where it's permitted. But considering we are both coming from areas that it's allowed, this isn't even a concern for me. As you said, it survived uscis, and if it wasn't okay, we wouldn't have made it this far.
However, I know he won't rest easy until he gets that big fat approval from the CO. ??

As creator of this thread I'm really disheartened to see it get to this point. One comment has completely brought this thread down. We have 2 awesome people saying they're leaving.
This was the small part of the forum where I felt that we could avoid drama and just talk and get to know each other, while updating each other about our journeys. Lets get back to that. Pheebs had every right to stick up for herself down to a comment stef made that literally came out of nowhere. But the continuation of the war against TSC vs. CSC rages on and it's turned the thread into another drama.
TSC people - It fudging sucks what you're going through. We don't understand. But please stop taking it out on CSCers.
CSC people - You don't understand the injustice that is the different wait times. Yes you understand distance and relationship struggles, but on this topic it is a different thing.
Can we just agree to these conditions and stop this bickering? I want normal talk back because gosh farm it i like this thread!

1.) I am not, and have never intended to be "smug"
2.) I posted about your private message (as Shana has already mentioned) because I was concerned I had offended others as I had seemingly offended you. Turns out, I hadn't. People asked who you were, and I didn't realise you wanted your snarky requests to be kept a secret.
3.) I have tried to put myself in your shoes multiple times and you have once again criticised my efforts to be sympathetic- your offer of "truce" is immediately followed by an attack on said sympathy with your use of italics. Doesn't present you as overly sincere.
4.) For the LAST time I am GENUINELY sorry about the discrepancy between service centres and I am sorry that I enjoy using emoticons.
I don't think I'll bother with VJ anymore, can't deal with the keyboard warriors. For all of those who have helped Dan & I up until now I am truly thankful. Good luck to all of you for the future!

I have been here four years. Our wedding anniversary is tomorrow.
I'm a Geordie, according to the man who..... still is my Husband, I talk like Golem -.^
He has pointed out on many occasion, that I refer to myself in sentences, as more than one person.
Here in Northern Virginia, where a lot of the original Brits settled, i often joke with my friends that the Empire is back
My experience here is they love all things British. I could talk utter tripe and they will still be awe struck. It does make me laugh.
We tend to find i'm Americanizing my talking, due to necessity of needing to be understood.
It's a whole new experience visiting the Doc here. had two kidney specialists rolling on the floor laughing when i referred to a past water infection.
My Husband, bless him is a very patient man, with a wonderful sense of humor.
At time's, he seems to take pride in being my translator, although for me, i feel like brave heart and want to lift my kilt and say freeeeeeeeedom.
We blame the fact that i was born next to the Scots border for me thinking that way.
However, it appears my Hubby is turning into a Geordie, with his "aw aye's" I enjoy it when he does try to talk Geordie to me.
    It's a home comfort.
I think four years on, i'm an unusual mix of Brit and American. I don't think i will ever give up my British ways completely. Last night for tea we had British dumplings! so i'm still a bit of a rebel. All things considered, i have no regrets and absolutely love it here.

No, it is the beneficiary that is filing. The petitioner does an I-864 Affidavit of Support. But that doesn't mean that I (petitioner) didn't have all the forms filled out for the beneficiary and said, "Here, sign this". Most forms can be researched and done in advance and saved on the computer to finish later. A few things like date of entry and flight or marriage date may not be decided yet. We planned to marry ASAP and file so I did it all in advance instead of spending the waiting days checking CEAC all day. Our packet was in the mail 10 days after POE.
Full disclosure There wasn't a CEAC status check when we did this. We just waited. We couldn't email the embassy or call them. I think the more tools people are given, the more stressed out they get and the faster they want to go. Things will happen when they happen and all this stressing is kind of wasted effort in my opinion.
Here's my AOS list, if you want to see how much there is to prepare and learn about.
