  1. Still in complete shock. My fiance and I were expecting this petition to take 5-6 months, but to our surprise, it was approved in only 42 days! We are so happy and grateful. All I can say is I know how hard it is for everyone on here that is waiting to be with their loves. Just try and be patient and follow the steps and yours will come very soon also! yes.gif

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! Wish i had had mine so fast like yours. Good luck

  2. Just a couple of quick ones.

If she's divorced, under the Marital Status line do I need to put that, or put Single?

On line 11, about making "specific contributions. Do I mark intend or do not attend, and if attend, what do I write for the exact nature of what I intend?

    Tnanks!

Jay-Kay has said it all. Just follow his assistance guidelines and you will surely be fine. Good luck

  3. I finally have in my hand the call-in letter i need from the embassy to go there for my packets. I will go for my packets next week Wednesday.

Am so nervous as well as anxious right now. I just cant wait to see my interview date.

Looking forward to updating my profile by close of next week Wednesday God's willing.

When we filed in Dec, i thought this day is so far but am now getting much closer. IT IS WELL!!!!!!!!

  4. I was told from an unverified source that with the elections court case results scheduled to be announced on August 28 and the potential outrage, etc., foreign workers have been told to be vigilant and "lay low." For those of you (like me) who have interviews scheduled for the first and second week of September, let's please keep each other updated about any changes at the Embassy with scheduling interviews, etc. Here's to a peaceful resolution and business as usual.

Am not the least sure that the Consulate will have any changes in their interview schedules cos Ghana is and will remain ever peaceful after the Supreme Court's verdict. GOD BLESS OUR HOMELAND GHANA

We will be united than ever. For now, we have to concentrate on moving over to join our love and cherished ones.

GOOD LUCK on your seconfd interview

  5. Thanking and praising God for our NOA2!!! Ive cried and cried many nights and days just for this and tho is not over I trust that God will see us through the rest of whats to come. Im praying for a smooth sailing rest of the process and Im in constant prayer for the person that will interview my usband. Praying that they will have a good day whenever we go for our interview because we know that that are only human and their emotions can determined a yes, no or maybe. I pray that God clear the minds of all of the IO's and grant us the rights to be with our spouses so that we can continue our life journey as one. Be blessed and stay prayerful.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Search for this immigration lawyer who is well known in US immigration issues. He is MITCHELL J. COHEN-HALLANDALE BEACH, FLORIDA.

I have read here on VJ how he's helped people with worst cases than yours. Good luck

  7. Don't you just hate when other people judge the person you love especially when they have not even met the person yet. They tell you "oh your making a mistake by petitioning him/her. he/she is just going to use you for the papers and leave you once he/she gets what he/she needs". How do most of you feel when your love one is being judge by family or friends?

I in particular felt and still feels indifferent. It hurts but sometimes i do understand the friends and relations of the petitioner. They have either heard or witnessed similar incidents happened to others. They MAY do this out of love, and security for their loved one.

This notwithstanding, there are equally evil minded ones and haters who are bent on spoiling and throwing everything overboard. But true love never dies and it stands forever. Once one is doing something that makes him or her happy, observers always become worried. Perhaps, Satan only knows why, smdh

  8. Did you try going to dhl.com and enter the tracking number or if you didn't get a tracking number, check on the packages that went to Accra the past month and see if/when yours might have been in there? I'm sorry I can't be more specific, search through the threads on here, I am going by what I have read and learned on VJ and it seems people find out information on their packages by tracking through dhl, either online or by calling a representative.. Good Luck!!

    thanks
