rhein got a reaction from Noktor in Name is not on our joint bank account statements
Don't sweat too much over this. My wife and I still don't have a joint bank account, and we didn't have and problems with ROC or naturalization. Of course, I included tons of other evidence.

NSO doesn't exist anymore.
If anyone should have gotten hassled by CFO, my wife should have been one. This is my third marriage, my second with a k visa and a 35+ year age difference. She went into the seminar confident and came out an hour or so later smiling.

About my statement? I am positive. Utah is an option if you want the get a CR1. I don't know of anyone that has tried that yet.
Doesn't matter it you are Filipino. Get a CENOMAR (in your case it would be a CEMAR) and you will see that you are legally married in PH.
In all cases your biggest challenge will be CFO. But like @IWander said she would most likely get it, she would just have to beg, plead, and jump through hoops.
You will never get a ROM for your new marriage until you get a recognition of divorce. It is PSA now not NSO

The Utah marriage is all you need for US immigration. So long as your divorce is recognized by the US it does not matter what the Philippines says. No problem getting the visa with a Utah marriage certificate. CFO would give you an extra ration of difficulty but would eventually let them still pass.

The only thing closed is a marriage in Philippines unless you are willing to get your foreign divorce recognized. Marriage anywhere else in the world or fiancee are available.

I am glad I got to travel and visit where my family is from. I only flew in was there a week just stayed in Havana. A place stuck in time it was beautiful. Side note I was so scared that my Global entry wasn't going to get renewed, but it did, after almost 7 months of waiting.
I hope one day the island can be free and anyone can freely visit. It would steal a lot of tourism from the Carribean

rhein got a reaction from Rob&Pan in How to ensure you have a clear lungs?
One more time: tuberculosis is an INFECTIOUS DISEASE. It CANNOT be cured by drinking milk, taking vitamins, eating vegetables, standing on your head, or by sacrificing goats to the Pope or Satan. Please acquire some common sense!
-
rhein got a reaction from Rob&Pan in How to ensure you have a clear lungs?
Ummmm - none of that makes ANY difference whatsoever. A person either has tuberculosis or they don't. The test isn't to determine if you have a chest cold, it's to determine if you have TB! "Magical" "cures" aren't going to do anything.
Please people, use the brains you were born with.
What you drink has NOTHING to do with whether you have TB or not. Jeez.
Again, having TB has NOTHING to do with being a smoker. Good god. What you drink or don't drink will not effect whether you have TB or not!

rhein reacted to mindthegap in stamp denied for second time help!
The OP has already been granted permanent residency, and they are not applying for any sort of privilege.
They are merely obtaining (or trying to at any rate) proof of their status, as is their right and responsibility as a lawful permanent resident, and as written in immigration law.
Do not forget that they have also paid for this service....and the whole reason these bloody stamps are needed is because USCIS can't keep to their own timescales in the first place.

I've never called anyone 'the anti-christ.' I'm not part of that whole wackaloon xtian right thing. You must be thinking of someone else.
As to the rest? Whatever. I moved heaven and earth to be with the person I love, and would do so again. Yeah, I find it utterly mind-boggling that anyone would choose to stay not to walk away from an employment contract rather than be with the person they love. Additionally, having poked around on the net for a few, it seems those kind of draconian contract provisions are virtually unenforceable in Germany in any case. Therefore, this is an entirely self-inflicted wound.

Being a foreign worker in Saudi Arabia is about as close to the opposite of being a public sector worker in the EU as you can get in regards to legal employment. Just saying.

Quit your job. Like, literally walk out of the office. Fly to the US. Easy-peasy.
I'm curious what you do for a living that requires a few months notice to quit employment?

Sounds like the guy who couldn't collect his 8 million lottery wins for 7 weeks because he couldn't get a day off his dishwashing job
you should have just walked away
why were you worried about the job there?
you were coming here to live and the job there did not affect employment in the US
that part of your reason will not be a good one to send to get a new date on K1 visa
and yes, we did see a girl who had her K1 visa reissued
she came to the US, was suddenly scared of this move, went home and then rethought the whole thing
she made a plea to embassy and a new medical and was issued a new visa and is here

If I'm understanding you correctly, at first you could not emigrate due to your father's illness and then you could not emigrate because your job requires a lengthy notice for you to leave your job? If that is the case, then you should have just quit your job. Since you would be emigrating to the USA, you should not be caring about a lengthy notice with your employer in your home country. For that reason, I think you may have a difficult time getting the visa re-issued. It makes it appear as though you put your job ahead of your future spouse. You can try to get the visa re-issued and maybe they will do it or maybe not. Suggest your bring some kind of statement from doctors/hospitals for your father's treatment. I don't think emails from your dad about his health issues will be much help.
