      Now I am excited to hear what she went through and how it all went. I am IMPATIENTLY waiting for that but I could only imagine how tired she is. I hope she gets a lots of rest and celebrates too.

    Hello my friends, I've hesitated the past few days to try and tell people to be patient and wait for the date because it sounds almost hypocritical coming from me since I got mine so fast. I'm not going to say I understand because I'm not in your shoes, but i wish you were in mine.

      Sorry for such a long post but you don't know how much I feel for you all and I wish that this part of the process would pass. As Steph said before we are all living through each other with this process so as anyone of your hurt we all hurt. God bless you all and I really wish I could do more than just give words of encouragement.

      I have said many times that it has been almost 9 months since I have seen my fiance and my son face to face so that made me want them (USCIS and NVC) to speed up my process as much as possible. Just like other I prayed and had/still have a crazy faith in God, but that doesn't make the feeling go away completely. Jersey said it best that some days are better than others. I truly feel the same as Matt ladies in that I want them to give you all your dates right away and ease your pain little...

      Matt comes through again with an excellent post. I really don't know if my case was fast or not but I know it feels like forever. The feeling that I felt and still feel is crazy. When I say I know the feelings of others is not exactly accurate because everyone has different feeling but I know that we are all waiting for something that we want so badly.

      Mariel, Steph, Alia I don't even know what to say... That is crazy that they can't say what is really the hold up. I would definitely be upset as well. The best thing for all of you to is to just forget about the whole thing and I know that is hard but it is necessary for you all to not go crazy. As you can see, your VJ family is here for you and we are ALL praying for you.

    Today is a GREAT day. God woke us up this morning and we are all moving closer to our big days. To all my VJers who have not received interview dates yet, I am praying for something to happen for you all today. Remember God is good and he hears all of our prayers. I want you all to be happy and have what you want. Everyone please enjoy this weekend and be safe. The VJ Dominican crew is the best.

      I wanted to go the CR-1 route but it was just a lot of work to get what I needed for the license. We will be having another wedding once she comes here but I didn't want her family to feel left out.

      No we are not legally married. We only had the ceremony there for her family that wont be able to come to the real wedding in the US. We don't have a marriage license.
