    Hi Ladydavina welcome to Visa Journey. You are correct it is your income they are looking into not his. Yes my husband is employed but that wont make much of a difference when he gets here he will have to start all over again finding a job. The only requirement to file an K1 is that you have to meet inperson with in the last 2 years prior to filing. Hope that helped good luck
