  1. Hello Visa Journeys!

My husband and I are now going through the AOS stage and his visa expired 1/06/12 and we didn't have the money to file until now! :( Anyways, now that we do do we have to use the same sponsor as we did for the i34? My mom did it, but she is saying the i864 is a legal bonding document and she hates the government....uggghhh she is nuts lol! anyways, i don't kno what to do and although i'm working it's far from being enough to fill it out for myself since i was a full time student last year. I don't kno what to do and if i have to use her and how it's different from the i34 she already did. I'm worried because he is waiting for that paper to work and unless it's filed we can't do a thing. HELP plsease...any suggestions would be wonderful! thank you all!

  2. Hello all! My fiance just got married and we are so happy! Our problem now is work...I had a friend who said her foreign fiance found a paper that allows him to work without filing I-765 and was able to work. He now works full time and I didn't know if any of u knew of such a paper or any ideas how to get my fiance a job without the paperwork right away?? In desperate need...please help!

  3. Hello Visa Hopefuls!

My fiance's interview was today and his Visa was denied. They allowed him the interview and stated that there was a third part to his police report that he has to send for and then reschedule his interview. The actual interview went great, he just has to get the third part to the police report and bring it in. He has to get it from Gahna. We should be able to get it in by next week, but everyone who went today there, was not approved for the same reasons. Hows come they aren't specific on the uscis website on what police reports are needed? Does anyone know if we are just looking in the wrong place? My love told me that one girl had actually had a plane ticket scheduled for friday morning and was freaking out trying to get it in by tom and reschedule everything! GRRRR this upsets me, but GOd will take care of it. I set my wedding for October 20th! I pray and have faith its all going to work out! any ideas or someone been through this can give us some advice?

  4. Hello All!

My mom is sponsoring our visa. She has filled out the 1-34 form and has all the supporting documents...now do i need to still fill out the 1-34 as well? In which case that I do have to fill it out do i need to also provide supporting documents? I am not employed at this time i'm in school full time, I don't have a checking account but I do have transcripts from last year...(tax forms) and so what else could I use? Would love some tips hunny thank you! :)

  5. Hello Fellow Journey Hopefuls!

Just recieved embassy info in the email and wanted to know, we have already faxed the two forms needed, so how long typically is the wait til we get the interview date? I have set the wedding for october 20th...are we safe?

oh and visa fee? does that have to be sent in with the faxed paperwork or brought to the interview?

  7. Hey all!

Couple of questions if you could please.

    1. For the affidavidt of support, my mother is sponsoring us, do i need to fill out the I-34 and she does, or just her?

2.Also, what is the I-864 form? Does my mom have to fill that out as well?

    3. Lastly, it says there is a section 2 on the affidavidt to get a list of some supporting evidence, but I didn't see a section 2 on e form. Am I missing something? lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I wanna get these forms done early so we can get them in ASAP! Thanks again guys!

  8. thanks so much guys! This process is nerve racking and I don't want any problems lol. I have only been waiting since march but it seems like years :) I haven't received and RFE yet, I am praying we don't have that problem either...i can't believe how much I am worrying...i am not one of those types of people lol, but this process is........

  9. Hello all fellow visa hopefuls! Me and my fiance are awaiting the NOA2, but I'm a little nervous for 2 reasons. One is, once we are approved...and (i pray that we are)I was wondering, I have only been to see him the one time and may not have the money to go see him again before his interview, is this going to be a problem from your guys experience to only see them once? And also, i am finishing my masters degree and so i'm in school full time and my mom is going to sponsor us for the affidavidt of support, is me not having a job going to affect the full approval? Would love some opinions or experience facts on these subjects. Thanks so much guys! :)
