    Hallo, once again, VJers!
First of all, so much gratitude for all the replies you have given us, well wishes and tips.
Today the K-1 application left VCS for Casablanca. It is laden, as with us all, with kisses and wishes and prayers and some juju and full surrender to GOD.
We now await notice of its arrival and the infamous packet that will declare Didi's interview date and accompanying list of to-dos.
I am sending off papers that are my responsibility and we spent the wonderful summer together, our FOURTH visit, and have TONS of proof of our ongoing relationship.
PLEASE MY DEAR FELLOW FRIENDS AND STRANGERS...ANY TIPS FOR THE HOME STRETCH? ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING INTERVIEW, SPIRITUAL, PRACTICAL, DOCS AND POPO...ANY TIPS...
PLEASE SHARE! WE WANT ANY LEG UP WE CAN GET!
We are both sending best wishes to everyone facing this struggle. We are just a couple of months from our 2 year anniversary and the pain, the challenges, the frustration and discouragement are almost more than any individual can bear. We can only thank God for the patience and YOU ALL for the advice!
    Didi and Allison
You know, Rick, I have many a friend in Casablanca, but somehow, just because you despise me, you are the only one I trust.

allisonsaja got a reaction from nicky&imad in K-1 PETITION APPROVAL TODAY
    HELLO FELLOW VJ-ers....
I received this notice from USCIS today and want to be elated...is this what is referred to as NOA2?
    I am so confused!!!
Are we now awaiting interview date? Instructions for doctor's visit and police, etc.? I am LOST!
Any insight will be appreciated...I am just too nervous and suspect to jump for joy just yet!

WELL HERE IS THE EXACT WORDING FROM USCIS:
    Post Decision Activity
On July 18, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.
THANK YOU FOR ANY FEEDBACK YOU CAN PROVIDE US!

    Hello VJ-ers...
Best of luck to ALL of you in surviving the process with your sanity intact.
My current concern is, having received NOA1 on April 2 2012, we are now in the wait for the NOA2, of course.
VJ and even National Averages listed at USCIS and also the dates and wait times on the timelines of others dealing with our same consulate ALL say 5 months (approx. of course).
    HOWEVER
when I use the USCIS toggle system for estimates on the Texas Service Center specifically, which is where VJ instructs sending the initial application, say over 13 MONTHS!
I now know there is a USCIS processing center right here in Chula Vista, California, in San Diego, where I live! Their wait time is listed at the national average! I am mortified!
Our application is sitting in Texas just waiting in piles of others and now we may be waiting for up to a year more?!?!?!
SOMEONE PLEASE ASSURE ME THIS IS NOT TRUE!
I still see on VJ that there are US/Moroccan NOA2s occurring within the 5 month national average.
It is simply that one toggle system (I hope you all know what I mean) that has my heart in additional knots.
I leave in one week to spend six with my fiance, so there is some solace there, of course. But we HAD hoped that soon after would be the interview and APPROVAL finally bringing us together after the entire 2 year ordeal. (and I know some of you have had even more to deal with and approval is no guarantee, but optimism is my armor.
Blessings to each and every person facing this most challenging love.
Stay true to the connection and believe...
Thanks for any feedback you can give us regarding this apparent contradiction.
    Allison and Didi
