It was over so fast, I don't think I have much to say.
I arrived at the MLC centre. Walked into an elevator and selected the 10th floor. Passed through security, leaving behind my bag and electronics. Went on up the 59th floor. Showed my passport to a lady behind a window and she buzzed me in. Walked up to a little kiosk with three buttons, hit the top one for K visas. As soon as my ticket came out, my number was alled. I didn't realise and I sat down for about a minute and then got back up.
Walked over to a window where the lady asked me basic questions about the paperwork. Nothing to do with the relationship itself. She asked if I brought a 3kg envelope with me or created an account. I had made the account, but I guess that means you can take your own envelope if you want. The first half of the interview was over quick and had to sit back down again.
    Then I broke their clock.
Well, not really. The had reading material so I went up to the slots in the wall and lifted up a magazine, which knocked the clock off the wall. I caught it and put it back up, though. Gave everyone a good laugh I think.
Besides the people being interviewed, there were only three other people waiting. They went up before me, then it was my turn. The lady asked me:
    1. Ever lived outside Australia?
    2. Ever been married?
    3. Have kids?
    4. Has you fiancée ever been married or had kids?
    5. What does your fiancée do?
    6. How did you meet your fiancée?
    7. How many times have you been in the U.S.?
    8. What did you do in the U.S.?
That's all I can remember at the moment. Then she said that she believed our relationship was valid and slid me a little white note. Best note that's ever been passed to me. It wasn't at all anticlimatic, though it does seem like it. I was so overwhelmed with joy I didn't know what to do with myself. I just said thank you then packed up and left.
She didn't ask to see evidence of our relationship.
    I guess that's my story!
Oh yeah, the lady said the visa would take 5 days to get to me, the slip says 7. And everyone else has said 2 weeks+. So we'll see. XD
The help and support I received here has been invaluable. It made this horrid process just that little bit less horrid. I am never doing this again. #### you, bureaucracy. Thank you for giving me permission to get married.
(but seriously though I really am appreciative )
    Any questions, just shoot.
