This process can drive all of us crazy but it’s worth it. We are almost on our 6th month of waiting and we have not heard anything from uscis. We totally understand that the whole petition thing is a “privilege” not a right but come on … how can we be separated for months even for years …
Imagine if there is a child involved in the process – so agonizing …
All of the application forms are easy to fill and understand but they need to change the system – more investigation shall be done once the couples get married. I do not mind to be investigated once I am there with my babe – there is nothing to hide. They must process the cases at a faster rate and then to investigate more detailed once the immigrant is in the USA. That’s our opinion …
As for how we feel – we feel bad

I paid my flight yesterday and once I have my visa on hand they want me to tell them only the visa number as they need to include it in the reservation othwerwise I may have problems when departing to the USA - that is what they have informed me. But as far as I know this is not mandatory.

I hate to sound judgmental, but from the sounds of the post it seems like you are planning to split up once you get to the US and just trying to figure out how long you have to hold out. Don't focus on the negative. If you love her and she loves you, you should be focusing on keeping it that way.

This is the kind of story that makes me mad, we here in Florida advertise come to Florida for your Vacation, and then a Bureaucrat tell the person, I know you are not going back, no visitor’s visa for you. But all the people coming across the Mexican border can stay without paperwork. It seems the old saying fits, countries and people that want to be friends with the U.S.A. the U.S.A. does not want to be friends with them, and all the people that don’t want to be friends with the U.S.A. the U.S.A. wants to be friends with.

Wow so sorry for all this - in my opinion consult a lawyer !!! You may sue him as well as those who have helped him - a signiture investigation will show that you did not sign any documents. If I was in your place I would fight !!!!! This is a serious crime, do not leave things this way !!! I am very familiar with Moldova and I am sure that something may be done. Go to the police immediately and report it !!!

Make sure she check her baggage to LAX - she needs to pick it up there. If her baggage is checked straight to Miami she won't be able to leave the airport (security measures). This has happened to me in the past !!!
