And just because things aren't working out does not mean she had fraudulent intentions or your marriage was not "bonafide" - she stayed with you and had your child! She did not have to stay , nor have your child and if all she wanted was a GC she could have tried other means to that end like filing a false VAWA (has been done), divorcing you and ROC on her own, etc.

I just got my interview notice and I filed a full month before you.
Judging by MY timeline, I would expect you to hear something at the end of this month and an interview for at the end of Feb/ start of March.

We have had our dog "Cookie" for around 3 months.
She is short haired, cannot live outdoors permanently as we live in Minnesota and lives happily inside and doesn't leave any "gross hair".

I just want to say after reading most if not all of your previous posts re: your husband I think you're doing the right thing and you deserve a lot better treatment from your Husband. I'd get the ball rolling now though, no point in waiting until Jan, you're just giving him more time to play with your head and heart.

In terms of filling our forms etc, we had no problems and we aren't "older" but I think that's a matter of basic reading comprehension
In terms of having an easier time at the interview stage etc, I am not sure. I think different countries / consulates have an easier time than others regardless of age though.

I would not prefer to attend the interview with a newborn where she will be exposed to numerous bacteria and germs especially if she is less than 6 weeks and has had no vaccinations.

Actually, the burden of proof is on the USCIS to prove the beneficiary entered with the intent to circumvent the law.

Any OB worth anything will send you home with many recommended texts, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, lists and general information you will gather from the lists of questions you will undoubtably present them.
Regardless of how much you read, how you believe you will parent or what you envision I am sure it won't end up like that so take anything you read etc with a grain of salt.
