My case was completed on July 31. Nothing yet. I am getting tired of checking my email every minute. I thought my spouse would be here with me by now. It is really a shame that is not happening.

As I have been saying, my case was closed on July 31 and still up till now they haven't schedule any interview. I called NVC and they keep repeating the same answer. They are always telling me that they are waiting for US consulate in Lagos to provide interview slots. It is exactly 23 days and nothing yet. I am contemplating getting in touch with my United States Senators or congresswoman. This is really ridiculous.

My wife call NVC yesterday she was told that the consulate has finish scheduling interview for sept, that they hope our request will turn up by month of oct... we are still waiting

Your case was closed on August 3. I think they will schedule us for interview in October. September is out of the question.

I spoke to someone who experienced the same thing a couple years ago during this time of year. It sucks, but all you can do is wait and be positive.

My case was close on July 31. It is almost 2 weeks and United States Consulate, Lagos has not come up with any interview date. Also, I notice that there were Nigeria cases closed within the same week. Since nobody has updated their timeline, I assume we are all in the same boat. I wonder when they will schedule us. Anytime I call NVC to check the update, they keep telling me that they are waiting for Lagos to give them interview date. I am doubting getting date in September. Probably in October.

My case was completed on 07/31/2012 per NVC operator. I was tracking any shippment to Lagos and I found out that there was a shippment on 08/07/2012 per Waybill #9454479646. The shippment is now at Lagos. The item that is shipped might be more than one case. Is there a way to find out if my case is included in the item? Thanks.

OK. Now I get it. Initially, I thought they will send your case to the embassy and then the embassy will schedule you for interview. I hope they schedule my spouse for interview in September. My guess is towards the end of September or early October.

I am getting my spouse set for medical examination pending the interview date. Please I was just wondering if any Nigerian VJ will give me the details of the steps to follow when my spouse will be going for medical examination. Do u walk or just call any of the two clinics and schedule an appointment. How many does she have to visit the clinic for the medical examination? Please advise.

I called NVC and was glad to hear the operator telling me that my case was completed at NVC on July 31. I am getting close. Please I was just wondering if any VJ can tell me the next step. With the rate this is going, my spouse might be schedule for interview sometime in September.

did you get a rfe or you send the DS-230 correction you have to hope that it meets up to your file, wait to see what happens maybe every thing is good,i cant give you a time,or how long

The other documents are fine. They are ok with the required documents. The only thing they asked me to do is redo form DS230 and send it back. My spouse has done that.
