This is so annoying... USCIS has system problems for the past couple of weeks I have been told today... They told me to put in service request online but I can't because it says I am within processing time... ahh, there just no win situation here!

I think I've waited long enough to call... Lady on the phone told me I should have called earlier (go figure) and they will schedule me for July 6th or 7th and if I don't get a letter by June 30th I should call them again.... How funny that it works so different for each and every one of us... ahhhh. Anyway lost 3 months, hopefully the rest will go much faster (hopeful thinking!!).

While I won't be able to answer your question, fair play to you for trying to solve the problem you guys have, instead of sending your wife back home
Unfortunately most of us, going through the long distance relationships and this process, forget that it might not be as we imagined or planned most of us have never been living together for more than a few days/weeks or more lucky ones, months! That again was usually just holidays and we never had to face real life problems...We think and believe we know each other but we are too busy with all the paper work, missing each other and being impatient to realize that not everything might be as it seemed...

Oh well , they knew where to hit, embassy ... I would be surprised if we see any visas approved from those countries now... I am sure there are tons of good people out there but as long as these governments are not going to handle murderers within their borders , that's the way to go...

Just to be clear, I do not approve the movie ( haven't even seen it but I understand it might be a sensitive matter for some) but I do understand that the embassies have to look after their staff safety and it is extremely unsafe for them right now to go on and keep interviewing people who might pose a threat...
