Good to hear an update from you Rob -- I think we're neighbours now! I live right on the city limits between LA and Culver City. Westside is where it's at. You'll be thankful for the location once summer is in full swing, since we get the benefit of sea breezes and the marine layer. Glad to see all is well with you and your lovely wife.

and its the same for me. what gives me the most happiness is my faith. the belief that i will have eternal life.
if god doesn't validate your existence what does? if you had no questions why have you done so much research into atheism?

i have been chastised for my religious beliefs for just mentioning that i was doing something for my church over the weekend. the argument that i find from most people who call themselves "athiest" is very flipant and deeply un intelligent. i have studied my faith, i have spent years attending church, reading books and having discussions. can atheists do the same thing.

i am private about my faith and so is anybody i know who has a faith. on many occasions my faith has been mocked by atheists. i have never been critical of an atheist or anybody else's faith. i have my feelings but i keep them to myself.
i would say you were unable to leave is your own issue. i wouldn't have got into that position.

I have always found athiests care more about pushing there point of view than people of faith.

Now why would I be pissed? We share info here and this is the first ever that I've read of asking for photos. Maybe a new lady has come on board and is doing her "thing" the way she wants to. It's a great heads up of possible changes in London. That's the only way we can keep up is by people sharing their experiences. And the rest of you lot can report if you get asked for photos and all those extra questions.
(Okay, I'll admit I get slightly pissed at Robert when he keeps asking questions that have been answered to him before. Or he jumps to post before using his brain to think about it. Example, the Knightsbridge number doesn't work for R. Help VJ!! Why not wait and try it again a little later before sounding the panic alarm in two threads? Excuses of not knowing how to use a computer are lame. I'm old enough to be your granny and had never posted in a forum in my life, but managed to learn. Hahahahaha...Silver Surfer crazy cat lady Mama Nich.)

Elora, you'd have to call the DOS for any information. I think it might be an idea to read through this thread again. A lot of what you're asking has already been posted in great detail, so posting it again might run the risk of things getting lost or forgotten about by accident. Have a good read, and let us know

I am covered by my fiances work once we are married so not really an issue. when you add together all the taxes we pay in the UK which also go towards NHS your way better off. i would imagine i pay more in tax towards the NHS than I would pay for healthcare in the USA. Add to that its not "free" like people think. I had to pay for blood test on friday and some prescription medication a few weeks ago.

The feelings that your having are quite natural. The stress and sacrifice that most of us on this forum have to go through is enough to break anybody down and it seems that even once you pass the first hurdle theres many more to come. The head injury seems like something your making into a bigger deal than it actually is. If you go to a Dr they will always find something wrong with you. have you really been unhappy for over a year......if so why would you have gotten married?
Try and remember how you were feeling before you moved. You may only see your husband one day a week, what would you have given a year ago to have one day a week in his company and share the same bed every night?
By the way you can still drive on a UK drivers license for up to a year I believe. I paid $200 to get insured on my fiances car for 6 months yesterday. Why not drive you husband to work and school every day then you will have the car on you to go out and do things.

exactly how i am feeling. kind of in limbo. vegas is not quite home yet but london doesn't feel like home anymore.
i think its all about being prepared. if you no your going to be moving to another country start saving money as your going to need it to contribute. my savings will equal what my fiance earns in one year. and i can drive.

Sounds to me like there's no need for a cosponsor for either affidavit but certainly by the time you file AOS, there will be no need. Think of the two events as totally separate.
