very weird, and i'm sure totally reversible once you chuck a load of chats and cards and stuff at them... maybe some written statements too, for good measure? from your sister or daughter? what do people think? i hope this doesn't offend anyone, i know its a MASSIVE generalisation, but i would have thought it was fairly normal for soppy, vain, 20 something couples like me & andrew to have a lot of cheesy pics and valentines cards, and for older couples with a divorce or two behind them and grown up children to be less concerned with such things. unfounded?
none of us know why they did but only one of us spent an hour with stu this morning, chatting about our lives and relationships and experiences in this process... and so i like to think i'm especially able to attest to how lovely stu is and how capable he is of getting this sh*t sorted out! good luck matey, it'll all be okay. hope lee is handling it okay too. down.. but not out, remember!

thanks sabi & leftcoastlady! i'm kinda nervous, but i'm also 99% sure it will all be okay. for now just enjoying london in the sun and the olympics - such a great atmosphere here right now, what a goodbye to my hometown have a great weekend everyone!

As recommended by kittylondon, I phoned DOS using skype, for 3.5 mins I paid 0.11£!!!! so would strongly recommending buying some credit for it and use it that way!

Scott is doing the right thing by taking time to heal from this tragedy. Getting into another relationship quickly after a marital breakdown is not a good idea for either party involved.

Now why would I be pissed? We share info here and this is the first ever that I've read of asking for photos. Maybe a new lady has come on board and is doing her "thing" the way she wants to. As some of you may recall,I posted a few questions prior to my interview,hoping for support and valuable advice.I got more criticisms than the ladder! It was very upsetting reading some of the most insensitive,ridiculous answers I received.Whats worse is that many of you thought it was normal and actually gave thanks for getting that type of treatment as well.Seriously??Just because you completed your immigration journey does not mean you should sit there and act like that.When people ask for advice,that is what they want..Not harsh criticism.It really sounded like you guys were angry about something I had nothing to do with.Anyhow,my interview went smoothly and not once did the officer show that he doubted my 10 YEAR relationship with my husband.The tax issue wasnt even a problem.1st off they are not the IRS,second I had a co sponsor who makes pretty good money.Plus,I work and pay taxes.Some of you said it doesnt matter if I worked or not.Well apparently it did because the officer asked if I was working and where.For those of you who think you know it all,think again and stop causing people unnecessary stress with your misinformation...Because ,hey,you might have to eat your words !

As it says, you should include a cover letter stating your email address/contact details, date of your wedding and date of the medical examination. Mine was exactly that - 'Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to confirm my readiness for interview, and attach the following forms... My medical exam is booked for xxx. I have a provisional wedding date of xxx and am contactable on xxxx'. Nothing fancy!
