A white USC with a much younger Nigerian interviewing in a 3rd country is really looking for an uphill battle. Hopefully you met in his country and have a longer stay and spent time with his family

    hi
    first, become a USC
residents can't petition parents, siblings or married children
LPR can only file for spouses and unmarried children
Once you become a US Citizen, then you can file for them

I think you should just tell them the truth about the dv application cos they do fill the firm without properly consulting the applicant.dont try and send any divorce document to them cos I think they already know the truth and co is trying to test you.

Don't know anything about Ghana so just trying to help.
Are there any place that couples have to or are being registred to when they get married? If so maybe you can get a letter or something from that place that proves you were never married and then a letter with your story of what happened. It's a long shot but maybe?

    **Moderator hat off**
This is an instance where you are "too married" to be eligible for a fiance(e) visa but not legally married to be eligible for a spousal visa at this juncture.
The Embassy will send the file back to USCIS via the NVC with finding that the beneficiary is not eligible for a K1 on the basis of being married. Once USCIS receives the file back, one of the following scenarios will occur with a degree of probability in parenthesis:
They will agree with the Embassy finding and revoke the petition approval; they will then subsequently tell you to start over at square 1 with the CR-1 process. (somewhat likely) They will disagree with the Embassy finding, reaffirm their original approval, and send the case back to the Embassy for another interview. (highly unlikely) They will simply let the validity of the petition expire and tell you that you are free to start over. (most likely) IMO, because you are unlikely to overcome the basis on which the K1 was refused, you will need to get legally married and start the spousal visa process.

The OP admits to drug use and is asking about lying about it. Participants in this thread have been condoning this possible action or have not been speaking out against it.
This thread, and several responses in it, violate this tenet in the VisaJourney Terms of Service:
"Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method." This thread is locked and is not to be restarted. Administrative action has been taken. TBoneTX VJ Moderation

Bear in mind that the worst possible thing you can do is lie about it. If they catch you in a lie while applying for a visa, that's it: denial and lifetime ban with no chance of appeal or amnesty.
Even if you somehow slip through, and they find out that you lied later, after you have your green card, even after you have US citizenship, they can take it all away and send you home. A lie is a cancer growing in your immigration file that can pop up at any time, even years later, and totally destroy you.
Admitting to drug use may get you a temporary ban of a year or a few. But lying will permanently scr*w you over. If they ask you straight up about drug use, for the love of YHVH, tell the truth!

I read elsewhere that they only drug test if you have a history of drug abuse. I don't know if this is correct.
I recommending reading through the threads I posted in response to this thread here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/530112-london-medical-drug-testing/
It may also be country specific, I do not know.
I wouldn't recommend continuing to smoke either way.

It is not simply making more than $400 for self-employed. You must make more than $400 net. http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Small-Businesses-&-Self-Employed/Self-Employed-Individuals-Tax-Center
The OP never even stated whether or not they were self-employed.
If the OP was required to file, then they need to file their back taxes for the last 3 years. If they were not required to file, then they do not have to file now, unless they want to. You can provide a statement explaining why you were not legally required to file any of the last 3 years you did not.
The OP has a current annual income of $53k. That is what they list on the I-134, and they provide a letter from their employer and recent pay stubs to prove that income amount. They will show their 2014 tax return and at $19k showing, that alone is almost enough to meet the requirement for a household of 2. Listing their savings is not needed, since they far exceed the income requirement, but they can list their savings and provide proof of ownership and value of those if they so choose. You do not have to be below the income requirement to list assets, you just are not required to list assets and if not needed you can leave that section blank.
To the OP> It is very difficult to use a co-sponsor in Thailand. They are typically not accepted there. You earn far more than enough though. Provide what I and another poster have mentioned in this thread when going to your K-1 interview. You also will not need a joint sponsor for the I-864 when filing AOS later. As I said above, if you were not required to file, then you are not required now for the affidavit of support forms. If you were required, then you must file your back taxes before providing the I-134 and I-864.

The op did not say he was not going to file his taxes .He said he did not file living in Thailand because he did not make enough which is perfectly ok. No where did any of his post said he was not going to file his taxes. yes saving can count toward the income requirement. please read entire post before replying

But part of moving on is also taking responsibility for your part in decisions... It takes TWO people to get pregnant... It is not just a case of HE got you pregnant... Pregnancy takes two people, if YOU did not want to have a child, then precautions should have been taken, therefore, it is also your responsibility to take ownership of of your decision. Sorry, but this is a sensitive subject when I hear women blaming HiM for, getting THEM pregnant. Unless it was a forced sexual encounter, then you BOTH had a part in it... Just as your tolerance to his cheating and forgiving him time and time again has put you in an terrible position... When you take ownership of decisions, you can learn and progress.. And make better ones. I am not meaning to be harsh, but you see the man for who he is now, divorce and move forward... Be strong... Learn from the mistakes you made, not from the ones he made...

If I'm reading this right, you're essentially asking online strangers to give you their personal (financial) details and to be financially responsible for you until you become naturalised/do a disappearing act/etc.
Methinks this will not take off.

Many fraudsters who have internet access have taken to sites catering to lonely older people and use them for a ticket out of 3rd world countries. They will probably assume you are one of these and that you have enchanted your wife. If you are honest be prepared to battle to open their eyes to the truth.

Like most VJ members have said, you will be in a better position to know what answers to give since this is your marriage and you know why you got married. My wife is 15 years older than me but we went through.
"How did you meet", " What does your family think of her" were the only questions asked in connection with her.
To be honest, yours is a big red flag. You being in the 20s is the issue. If you were to be in your mid 30s and the gap is still 30yrs, that wouldn't worry much but never say never. Your might go through and have your approval.
    NB
Please be careful of such questions on VJ cos it raises suspicion. I asked the CO who interviewed me whether she knows of Visajourney, and she responded saying they read it all the time.
