I think you will likely be approved. Hope so.
So out of curiosity, I am wondering about everybody else. If you were in the same situation, would you be that honest?
I think I am very honest. I just went back in a convenience store when I realized the clueless girl gave me back an extra dollar in change. We found a smart phone in Target and went to a big effort to find the owner. I report tips to the IRS when a customer gives my husband a $100 bill in addition to paying the invoice for working on their home network. And so on many, many times.
But when it came to this, I would never, ever admit to drug use or anti-depressant use at Knightsbridge clinic unless it was on my police certificate.

I called last night and they entered a claim for me as well since Indianapolis local was also processing 11/15/12 and our fee was accepted 10/31/12. I was also told to wait 15 days and then check back if I had not heard anything. The lady was very nice but seemed to have trouble understanding me although I am the US born and raised person in this couple!

Actually, I beat the average by 16 days as the 77 days that Nich-Nick quoted is NOA2 date to interview. When you consider that my 61 days included 2 weeks in AP at NVC, I think I did really well!
Now in the Executive Lounge at Heathrow waiting for my flight. I have a mixture of excitement and being scared running through my veins (plus far too much caffiene). I have been chasing, chasing, chasing to get to this point and now it's here, it's actually a bit scary to be leaving everything I've ever known at the age of 50 for my fiance and the good old US of A.
Nich-Nick - I wanted to send you some proper English crumpets that I've put in my luggage for you. Not those ones that say they're English crumpets in US supermarkets. But your PM box is full (not a surprsie - everyine asks you questions). If you're happy to do so, please PM me your postal address and I'll get them in the mail tomorrow. They have a best before date of next Wednesday. You deserve a lot more than crumpets for all the help you've given me but I noticed you discussed them in another thread.

Keno and I are starting to slowly prepare all the documentation we are going to need to submit our I-129F. We want to take our time with the whole process to make sure every 'i' is dotted and every 't' is crossed. Being one of the first same-sex bi-national couples to immigrate to the US on a K-1 visa on the heels of a potential victory in the Supreme Court on June 27th means we don't want anything to go wrong on our end.
While we cannot file our I-129F until DOMA is repealed, we want to be ready the instant it is to submit our paperwork because it is such a time-consuming process.
Keno is currently securing his passport quality photos which he will include in his packet of info (G-325a, statement of intent to marry) that he will send to me in late January. He should have them within the week.
To everyone who supports us, thank you very much - you have no idea how much kind words and support means to us.
To those who wish us ill or dislike us because of our sexuality, please just avoid posting inflammatory comments and leave us be - that's all we ask and we do wish you the best of luck on your journey to bring your loved one to the US.

My SSA experience wasn't as bad as yours, but it took a bit longer for my guy to get the card than originally expected. It did take the full four weeks. I've attached the first letter we received, which is probably the same as yours. As long as the guy took your information and gave you the letter, you'll be moving along in the process. About three weeks after we first got in and were sent this letter, we received a second letter in the mail saying that we should get the card in two weeks. A week after that we received the card and a letter saying that it was enclosed.
Make sure you save all of the letters. My guy and I are in the process of buying a car (in both of our names, so he can start to build credit here) and the bank had no problem approving us, but they wanted to see his SS card and the cover letter.

    That is 100% not true.
From the instructions to the medical form I-693 page 4
Frequently Asked Questions (Section III. 2, c)
    2. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?
If you were admitted as a:

    A. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a
    B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and
    C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:
    1. You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination , and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.
    2. Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693. #2 above is exactly why I tell K1s they should get all their shots prior to going to Knightsbridge so they can get a properly completely DS-3025 and skip the Civil Surgeon altogether in the US.

Part of this is incorrect. The results section does NOT have to say "complete". 1000% positive on that. You also do not have to have a DS-3025 but it' s useful to check to know if you are complete.(See explanation below)
Your lawyer is giving you information that applies to people who are already living in the US (student or work visa) that apply for AOS. They haven't had a medical exam overseas so get a full exam and sealed results (Form I-693) to mail with the AOS application. Your medical exam was in the sealed envelope you turned in at POE. It will be matched up with your AOS application and serve to clear you medically for AOS. Sometimes they lose it and don't make the match- up. If that happens, then the USCIS will notify you. Don't get another exam unless they happen to lose the one from Knightsbridge.
You don't even have to have the DS-3025 photocopy to send with AOS. The original is in the sealed envelope turned in at POE along with the other papers. It's the official untampered with form. Your photocopy is just a little reminder that your shots were complete and documented by a panel physician.
You may not have a complete DS-3025 (vaccination sheet) that will be accepted. Here's what to look for to see if yours is complete.
Look at your DS-3025. If it has the following items, you don't need an I-693 completed by a US civil surgeon for your immunizations
    1. Shots marked (at least one of a series, date no longer than 10 years ago)

    MMR
Td or Tdap or DT or DTP or DtaP
Varicella- VH written by it if you had chickenpox. If you don't have VH then you're not complete and will have to get varicella in the US..
Influenza (only during flu season Oct 1-Mar 31)

    2. Everything else marked not age appropriate, or insufficient time interval, or not flu season
    3. RESULTS section filled in with "incomplete... may be eligible for blanket waiver"
    4. Signed and dated by the doctor
If it's not completed like that then see a civil surgeon for the I-693 immunization section. There can 't be any part not done, so dont be thinking, "well I have almost all that on mine." If it is totally complete on your Knightsbridge form, send a photocopy of your DS-3025 with yourAOS package and skip the civil surgeon.

What? Again, no-one is saying don't declare something. You give the information they request because that is what they want. If you are particularly concerned and feel something should be declared that they have not asked for, then go ahead.
No-one here is ever going to advocate lying. We are not advocating wilfully distorting the truth.
If the doctor asks for the answers to A, B, C and D then you provide the answers to A, B, C and D only and you answer them truthfully and factually.
This isn't a doctors consultation! This is a medical examination where they are looking for specific information so that they can tick a box on a DS-2053 form. There isn't an option to tick 'maybe' or 'patient thinks that...'. The questions are 'Yes' and 'No'.
If you feel something is significant enough that it should be declared when they have not asked about it, then of course you should do it. Never, ever lie.
Volunteering unnecessary information is a waste of everyones time. The fact remains that the question is not "do you think you had issues with depression?", the question is "Have you ever been diagnosed with depression?" so you provide a factual answer only. Nich-Nick was given anti depressants, but not diagnosed in the same way I've been given ear-drops but never diagnosed with otitis externa, or that I've been prescribed asthma inhalers but don't have asthma. I had a chest infection and I was given an asthma inhaler to alleviate the symptoms. Therefore, I ticked 'no' on the box to having asthma.

Hi! Here's the link to the London embassy that has all the DS forms in the upper right corner: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html
After you get your NOA2 and clear the NVC stage, you'll receive the packet 3 letter. The only useful information in that letter is the link above and the phone number to pay the visa fee. Once you're at the packet 3 stage, the London embassy website is the place to go.
Once you know you're past the NVC stage and have the LND case number, fill out Form DS-230-Part 1 (throw part 2 away), DS-156K, 2 copies of Form DS-156 and and 2 copies of DS-157 and send it to the embassy. One of the forms will have a space for the photo and one of the forms will tell you it needs the police certificate and all that supplemental stuff. Don't send any of that, just the forms.
Then book your medical exam. A few days before the medical exam and after you have the police certificate and all the supplementals, send DS-2001 to the embassy with a cover letter saying you're ready for an interview date and can take one on short notice.
Based on how everyone's done things so far, that should be the fastest way to do it.

    Hey, CALM DOWN!!!
It has only been 5 working days and they told me it would be 10-14 days for delivery. If you go past that, then start worrying!
Plus they have your passport, if they were going to put you in AP they would have given you a different form and your passport back (I think!). They can't just hang onto that for as long as they like!
    Give it some more time
Oh, and by the way, the guy on the embassy phone had no record of my appointment when I called 2 days before it AND DOS had no record of my appointment either. They just read off a screen, which doesn't always get updated very regularly.
