Is there a way to tag this somehow? I am starting to look into it for my beneficiaries just now and will share any good information I  find. I am also interested in what others have to share, though.

Looks like there’s hope for those who hope to stay
H.R.3911 - To provide for adjustment of status of nationals of Ukraine, and for other purposes.

Just an FYI. There are several threads here on VJ for Uniting for Ukraine. If you have any questions just ask. Several of us have been through the process.

Our beneficiaries arrived in Boston yesterday from Warsaw via Munich and Frankfurt. Process was very smooth and efficient for all of them. The total time from from deplane to terminal exit was less than 90 minutes.

You folks may find the section about re-parole in this letter interesting: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/foia/Temporary_Protected_Status_for_Ukraine-Senator_Van_Hollen.pdf

What I found interesting was this is the first "official" that has made a statement that we should see a re-parole process at some point.

This will be an interesting situation. From my understanding your first paragraph is completely correct.

As for U4U, technically it doesn't look like your MIL is technically eligible either. From USCIS:
It sounds like your MIL would technically have to leave the country for the duration of the application process. Sounds really crazy to me. In my opinion there has been no consideration my USCIS for this situation at this time.

I-765 Work Authorization was approved the next day after my U4U beneficiaries biometrics appointment. Impressive compared to other visa categories...

Just a simple form that you sign to give the office permission to get involved.

If you know who your Congressman is, find his/her website, and there will be links to various subjects or to request general help.  I would phone the most local office for best direction of how to proceed.  Remember that it's the holidays, so some staff might be on vacation.

I don't think I would reapply at this point. I would first try to contact CBP (202-325-8000). It is possible CBP is having an issue with background check.

This section is a about you and your income. The Beneficiary's income information will be asked later.

OP, you're either engaged or you've broken up.  If you're engaged, follow through with the legal process.  If you're not, this is not a family-based immigration issue that pertains to this site.

Start any more threads on this topic or inject this issue into any existing threads, and your VJ account here is at risk.

Thank you everyone for responses. My I-134 got approved on Tuesday evening, it took only a week, even with Thanksgiving, very impressed.

I have question about the new rule effective in November 21 - that all U4U are now eligible to work legally as soon as they arrive.
Does this mean that when they arrive, they can go right away to Social Security Administration and apply for SSN with passport & I-94 form?

I don't have any information specific since October 19th. But previously this situation indicated that something about I-134 was not sufficient to meet the approval process. From my observation it was often not complete/sufficient documentation.
    Hope this might help.

Totally agree with Crazy Cat and Boiler here. Some of mine in the late spring took longer than this also. I'd be patient a little while longer....

I have seen it mentioned things had slowed down, I assume after the initial rush plus Venezuela there are much fewer people handling them.

The way I understand this, parolees are now eligible to start work immediately with just their I-94 and while they start their I-765 process. And the I-765 will be no charge, thus no need to file the I-912.
