This afternoon, I received an email that EAD was approved and card production was ordered. My wife and I made a bet: will it arrive before the interview next Friday or before. We'll see.

Mine is at 12:30, right before lunch. I hope he/she will have a good breakfast, so he/she is not hungry and in bad mood.

We are soooo happy!!!! They allowed my wife to do walk-in biometrics! We got a little scared, because they turned some people away, but I guess being pregnant has its advantages.

    Hi,
Do you get one email and one case number for the whole package, or one per each application?
    Thanks

It was confusing for me at the beginning as well, but the form specifically states not to count same person twice. I followed the sample on this forum. It was kind of strange to put "0" after "if you are married" question, but my wife was already counted as a beneficiary.

Is getting food stamps any issue as far as immigration is concerned? The only place I have seen that asks about receiving any help from public funds is on I-485 application. However, receiving food stamps is not an issue even when applying for adjustment. As far as USCIS is concerned, food stamps don't fall in the category of of public charge. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=829b0a5659083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=829b0a5659083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD
