I really don't care if you believe me or not; it doesn't make what I said any less true. I've seen it posted many times over on VJ how USCIS gives out inaccurate information over the phone; plus I've taken the time to look through all applicable laws. I also correct inaccurate information for the benefit of others who may be reading this forum.

Personally, if i see ”GOWON” i fling by those post. Cleary not worthy of reading material!!! Sr. Member or not,.no timeline NOTHING.. all post are rude, arrogant And very disrespectful towards woman. On Monday Dec 3, My husband attended his visa interview at the US Embassy in Kingston. He got there at 6:45 for his 7:30 appointment. He got himself checked in and waited to be called. He was called to be sworn in and had his fingerprints done, turned in his medical and signed his police report. After that he was told to sit back down and wait to be called. He was called to another window by a white American man. He asked my husband how did you meet your wife, when did you get married, how many people at the wedding, do you have any pics of the wedding (Husband pulled out the pics), guy asked who filed for you, my husband said my wife of course, the man chuckled and proceeded with have you ever been arrested? My husband said yes, sir I have, however I was never charged and the case was thrown out. The man proceeded to ask why and for what and my husband was honest and told him it was years back for a domestic issue with my ex wife. The interview basically ended there and my husband was handed a blue sheet to return with a letter regarding the case that was dropped and he also needed to surrender his previous Green card.
On the blue sheet my husband was told he could surrender the Green Card on Monday’s and Thursday ONLY from 1-3 pm. Since it was a Monday, my husband decided to exit the building, to re enter to handle surrendering his Green Card. He was told that they no longer offer this service on Monday that he would need to return on a Thursday. So my husband headed back for home (5 hours commute each way errrrrrr). On Tuesday my husband went to Sav to get the letter about the case and I am glad to say that, he received that same day!! My husband proceeded back to Kingston Thursday morning (12/6), when he reached Kingston, he was told we are closed today, you will have to come back next Thursday. When he called to tell me this I was like, REALLY??? You have got to be kidding me, well he was not :crying: !! So I decided to write an email to the embassy begging them to schedule my husband’s blue sheet interview on a Thursday so that my husband could handle both his green card and his blue sheet in one trip. That a total of 4 trips to Kingston is a lot and that we were advised by the embassy officials to go on Monday and Thursdays, which we did and they were closed. I sent this email at 6:30 pm (CST), the next morning I received the standard email stating email was received and that I should expect to hear from them within 5 business days. So at 2:47 pm that same day I received another email stating, thank-you for your email, we have scheduled a blue sheet interview for Mr. XXXXX on Thursday Dec 13 at 1:30.
When my husband returned to the embassy for his blue sheet it went pretty quick, he was called to the window, saw the same man how interview his the first time. He turned in his papers and the man really didn’t ask him anything other than where will you reside in the US, he told him. Then he looked at my husband and told him that always remember “honesty will always pay off” to go to the DHL window and enjoy being reunited with your wife for the holidays .. I have never felt so blessed in my entire life. I called the DOS today and they told me that my husband’s visa has been processed and should ship today or Monday…

Well said and that is all I was saying in the first place. Or pm ppl stating they are prejiduce. stating im just jelous, umm no, this is not about a race who gets here first. or I think im better because my Husband is not an entertainer. How my coments show my relationship is falling a part. Not even close. This has been a long journey and just cuz we have an interviw dosnt mean a thing at all. There are no guarantees in life but people will always be curious about others visa journey. Umm that is why this site exsist,.for people who want to share their experiences to help other.

I guess that's the thing about the internet, some people don't have the balls in the real world to speak their minds so they get on a computer and have much to say. Nobody owes anyone an explanation of why their journey is over. And for the person who stated that cause she is with an entertainer her journey just begun, who are you to make such a comment? So cause your loved one isn't an entertainer your relationship is better than hers? That comment alone can make your relationship crumble right in front of you. Oh and perhaps braggin about no interview could back fire. Their journey still has a process, just cuz the interview has been placed on hold doesn't mean there is not gonna be one. Several top Jamaican artist have been denied visa for many reason.. I think its you who,needs to get off your high horse..

Well, im am a bit crazy (lol). Sent my Husband his final packet for medical & interwiew. The package was 4.0 and was sent in a double Fed Ex Pak (oh my). It was sent Int'l Priorty on Tuesday, he received on Thursday by noon. It was in perfect condition. The embassy received out NVC package. Medical schduled for 11/19 at 1:00 in,Mobay, interview set for 7:30 am on 12/3. I was so wrapped up with papers for so long. Now im feeling empty and yet very, very nervous and very scared. our lifes depend on this day the 3-4 hours of 1 day. scariest part, our future depends on one person, a person who dosent even know us. Were almost there, but this wait seems longer than the past 6 months.

As I stated in another thread. Some of us really are greatful for this resourse that also builds and connects people all over the world. We are allowed to speak or disagree but still remain blessed for something we all have in comom. A Visa Journey.
